Your morning starts with hotel pickup in the Chania region by air-conditioned minibus or minivan. If you are staying where vehicles have limited access, such as Old Town or the Venetian Harbor, greet your guide at convenient pre-arranged meeting points.
Then, drive through traditional Cretan villages and the mountains of the Kissamos area. Relax as your guide takes care of navigation through the countryside.
Your first stop is the Anoskeli Winery Olive Mill in the picturesque village of Anoskeli, about a 30-minute drive from the center of Chania. After tasing award-winning regional wines and olive oils and touring the vineyards, head to the
the Monumental Olive Tree of Vouves, considered one of the oldest olive trees in the world.
Get back in the coach and head to your last stop: the family-run Manousakis Winery in the village of Vatolakkos. Sample more wine and olive oil on your 1.5 hour visit, and return to your pickup point in Chania.

The tour was great from start to finish. Very clear instructions about where to meet and at what time. My guide, Andreas, is a qualified somellier and very knowledgeable about wine and clearly very passionate about it. The olive oil tasting was delicious and the accompanying snacks all complimented the wines very well. I'd recommend this tour if you are at all interested in wine.

From pickup to drop off this was a very easy going experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable about both the olive and wine history of Crete. Lots of fun and would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing but fun touring experience

Andrea was a great guide. We saw the old olive tree first which was a nice way to start. Then we did the olive oil tasting. He knew a lot about how the trees grow and are harvested. There were some nice snacks to eat with the oil and wine. The last stop had nice outdoor tables and good wine and food. A really great way to experience Crete!

This was a fantastic experience we learned so much about both the olive oil and wine making process. Our guide was a Sommelier and had endless information about wine. All of the food and wine we tried was delicious. It was also a special treat to see the oldest documented olive tree.

We really enjoyed this trip. We tasted 10 different wines at 2 wineries with snacks at both places (which was enough for lunch). We also visited an old olive tree which had a really interesting history. The driver Yanis was really lovely and gave us an amazing history of the island whilst we were travelling. We had a great day.

What an amazing and memorable experience! From the start, I was picked up in a luxury van by our guide, who also happened to be a sommelier. He was professional, super knowledgeable about both wine and the region, and made the drive itself enjoyable with all the insight he shared.
It was a small group of about 10–12 people, which made the experience feel really personal and relaxed. We visited two wineries—one included a tour where we learned about the winemaking process, and at both places we enjoyed tastings of about four different wines (both white and red), each paired with snacks.
The scenery along the way was absolutely stunning, and visiting the oldest olive tree in Crete was the perfect highlight. If you love wine, history, and beautiful landscapes, this is definitely something you shouldn’t miss while in Crete!

We were picked up close to our hotel and the driver was friendly and informative. Scenic drive which took about an hour. The first stop was both olive oil and wine tasting. The host was very knowledgeable and explained the different types of olive oil. Second stop was another winery where the host explained the different types of grapes. Both places provided food that was delicious. Highly recommend this tour!!!

From pick up to drop off was about 6 hours. The time flew by. Maria had so much information and history about Crete. She brought us to the Ancient Olive Tree of Vouves and museum. We took a cool picture in the middle of the trunk. Our next stop was one of the coolest wineries that I have been to. I loved that it also had olive oil. It was an amazing pairing. Good food and great wine. The next winery was a boutique winery that had really good wines and fresh food to pair with it. We saw how they made, bottled, and labeled the wine. The owner added so much when she told info about how they named some of their wines. Maria also had great recommendations for other things to do in the area (off the beaten path).
The tour was informative, fun, filling of food and wine, and memories. Yamas!!

This was a wonderful tour. I do think the tour was more wine focused than olive oil so if you’re in it for the olive oil then this is probably not for you. We stopped at 3 location. First was a wine and olive oil tasting; 5 wines and 1 olive oil with delicious snacks. Second stop was at the oldest olive tree which was super cool. And finally, another winery with 5 more wines, small snacks, and a tour of the wine making facility. Our driver, Costa, was very enjoyable and informative. Overall, very nice excursion and worth the price.

Great wine tour and wonderful driver/tour guide. He was very insightful on the history of the island and the villages. He even gave us a great tour at the Olive Tree Museum, which non-passages joined to listen. The first winery, Anoskeli, was delightful. Great wines, great service, and some snacks. The second winery, Manousakis, was a little more crowded and less personal of an experience, but still offered great wines.

I recently joined the Wine & Olive tour and had a decent experience overall. The highlight of the trip was definitely our tour guide, Alex – incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Crete, wine and olive oil. He kept things engaging and informative throughout the day. We also had a great group of fellow travelers, which added to the enjoyment.
However, the tour itself left something to be desired. While there was plenty of wine tasting (almost to excess), the olive oil side of the experience felt like more of an afterthought. I was hoping for a better balance and perhaps one more stop at either a vineyard or an olive oil producer to round things out. The overall pacing felt a bit light for what was advertised.
In short: great people, but the itinerary could use some improvement to match the expectations set by the name of the tour.

Overall, a fun experience. The tour guides at Anoskeli and Patriotis were very informative and pleasant. Unfortunately, both places were not in operation on our visitation day. And our group felt there could have been more olive oil tasting as that’s what Crete is known for.

This was a great tour experience. We got to visit several wineries and do some tasting and try authentic Greek olive oil. We got to learn about the history of each location and their wine/ olive oil and how each was produced.

The tour was fantastic! Really insightful with it's information about the olive oil production, the olive trees and of course all of the info about the wine tasting!
Andreas was an excellent guide. Funny, friendly and luckily for us a wine sommelier so he could tell us all about the different wines we tried.
The day itself felt like the perfect length of time and a siesta afterwards was needed!
