Our first trip to South Africa

Pick up time was punctual. The weather wasn’t great in the morning for Table Mountain but our tour guide /driver Kelvin was flexible and took us around the other sites first and did Table Mountsin last when the weather improved. An Absolutely Unforgettable Day Exploring the Best of Cape Town

This was truly an amazing full-day tour and one of the highlights of our time in Cape Town! We saw so much of this beautiful, fascinating city from the colorful streets of Bo-Kaap to the breathtaking scenery of the Cape of Good Hope and the lighthouse, along with countless incredible neighborhoods, each with its own unique character and story. One of the most memorable experiences was visiting Boulders Beach to see the African penguins. Being able to walk along the beach and get up close to these adorable creatures in such a beautiful setting was truly unforgettable! What made this tour exceptional, however, was our guide, Jean Bosco. He was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of Cape Town was incredible and he brought everything to life with fascinating stories, history, and insights we never would have discovered on our own. As we traveled throughout the city and surrounding areas, he pointed out interesting neighborhoods, historic and iconic buildings, famous residents, and so many details that made us appreciate Cape Town on a much deeper level. He was engaging, informative, personable, and clearly passionate about sharing his city with visitors. We covered an incredible amount of ground without ever feeling like we were simply checking places off a list. Every stop and every part of the drive added something special to the experience. If you want to see the best of Cape Town in one day while learning about its history, culture, people, and breathtaking scenery, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. It exceeded our expectations in every way and gave us memories we will treasure long after our trip is over. An absolute must-do when visiting Cape Town!

Great half day tour from Cape Town.

This was a great tour to the Cape of good hope and southern cape. Also a visit to the African penguin colony. Our guide/driver was Sedick Petersen he was great and knew the best order to visit each site to miss the crowds. He gave us information about every place we drove through and visited. There was only 5 of us on this tour which made it very sociable and we had a good laugh mainly lead by Sedick which made the whole tour more enjoyable. I can highly recommend this Half day tour you get to see everything and have enough time at each stop to see everything.

A Great Day!

We had a great day with Rico and Naazeem. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The wines were great to! Lunch was excellent. We got dropped off and quickly realised we'd left a phone and glasses on the tour bus! We contacted Viator, via Whatsapp who immediately contacted Rico. Our items were delivered back to us within 45 mins....relief and excellent customer service by all concerned. Highly recommend this company and guides.

Great Tour!

This was an excellent group tour. The size of the group was 12 people and we used a sprinter van. The driver / guide was Gordon. He was excellent. The tour lasted exactly ten hours. It was worth every penny and we saw all the major sites. In my opinion, it is easiest to book the all-inclusive version of this tour in order to not have to worry about trying to purchase tickets. It made things stress-free. The lunch choice was a high-end restaurant and the food was great. The photos I took on this trip was priceless, and being in the company of others on a group tour is always fun. I had a great time!

Lucky was great!

Nice boat ride over to the island then you do a bus tour around the island and quite a bit of walking which was so nice. Lucky was our guide and he had spent 5 years in this prison and showed us the life of prisoners. He was very interesting. He really made the tour. The girl that was the speaker on the bus gave lots of good info. After getting off the bus we got a cookie and a water at a little store where you can see PENGUINS!!

The Best Experience in Years

It was convenient to be picked up from my hotel and driven around the wine country. We stopped at four delightful vineyards and tried exquisite wines. The experience was delightful: our guide was knowledgable and the other guests made for a memorable experience. 12 international students riding high on wine were singing Sweet Caroline, Its a Kind of Magic, Country Roads, and other bangers after a day of beautiful vistas, friendly conversation, and fine wine. 12/10, highly recommended!

Joseph was a great driver...

Joseph was a great driver and gave us information as we went over. He took care of getting the tickets for us and making sure you were in the right place and giving us ideas about the layout of the V&A atea after we were done. Of things to do. The tour of the island itself was fabulous. It was a bus ride, and then we sat and heard from an actual gentleman that had been a prisoner there. Overall, just a wonderful educational experience.

Blissful experience!

Very beautiful experience with great people. The whole crew is so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our ride 🫶🏾 the booking process was very smooth especially with the app, what a lively atmosphere at the V&A I wish we arrived 3 hours earlier and had some brunch there and take photos. I’d advise a morning or midday booking as the CT wind can be very bad especially in the late afternoon . Overall it’s a 10/10 for me shem. Location, ambiance, experience!! Just amazing

Definitely One of The Highlights of Our Busy Trip

Wild X Atlantis Quads - CPT Right out of the gate I’ll say that this was one of the best ATV tours our 5 riders have been on! Most of us had previously selected Cabo as being the best. The key difference being the height of some of the dunes, the beauty and the low level of dust in the air. We barely got dirty! Experience details: ⁃ It was very easy to book via Viator if you did so early. We had a few last minute add ons and they had trouble getting a confirmation before we left for the dunes. ⁃ Price was fair. They offered better promotions about 2 weeks before our date. ⁃ Transportation is not provided so you’re on your own. We called an Uber for what was a 45 min ride. Leave early! Be careful with the Uber rides because our driver told us we probably wouldn’t be able to get a ride back because of the isolated location and offered us an outrageous price to wait and return. We took our chances because he wanted 4x what we paid to get out there. We did find an Uber van that happened to be there afterwards and it was for a fair price. Phone signals can be iffy out there. ⁃ The beauty of the white sand dunes is off the charts. No, there is no water nearby so you won’t have that in your pictures. ⁃ Tour guide- was chilled and laid back. Gave us an adequate briefing based on our experience levels. There was no problem with getting your fun on in this high paced ride. We stopped maybe twice however because of ATV issues. Thankfully he was able to get them changed out very quickly. They also let you bring your phones along so you can shoot photos at various stops. He even offered to shoot motion video with one of the phons and it came out studio quality. ⁃ Paperwork will need to be filled out before you start. It is basically waivers of course. ⁃ No food or water is provided but I did see places at the meet point where you could buy things. ⁃ We would definitely recommend WildX and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. ⁃ Although the dust levels are at a minimum, I would definitely recommend bringing some type of face cover and nice fitting shades. There are face shields but I left mine up most of the ride ⁃
