This hop on hop off option served very well my plans in Cape Town. It concentrades on main spots and you just get off and back on whenever you wish to.

This is a very good way to get around Cape Town. We used all three lines - red, blue and purple. The commentary on board was very informative and clear to hear. The commentary is heard using earbuds that come with the ticket.

We were told you could only scan ticket once so my husband tossed his. It turns out he needed it and even though we had proof of payment they refused to issue a new ticket. Thought it would be a good way to see the city but you would be better off using another company. It was ridiculous that they wouldn’t issue him another ticket or just let him on. The receipt even had the date

Thank you for your feedback. The tickets are required to be scanned each time you enter the bus with the QR code that is on each ticket. We are sorry to hear about the mis communication as we always strive to provide excellent communication and service.
Too many steps to complete the whole process you can simplify by creating boxes to tick
QR code should be sent by email and sms as an individual email and not hidden inside text messages
I struggle to find the QR code and kept everyone waiting in the queue
I am retired and new technology changes and create unnecessary steps and processes
Keep it simple keep it easier to navigate

Just to clarify we do send a voucher which contains a QR code by email at time of booking and that the driver scans as you enter the Hop-On Hop-Off bus. Great way to see the events and decide which ones warrant a closer look with more time. Many activities were fun to see but I didn't need to see them again.

Better organized than any other hop on bus I've used in other cities! There's a tracker website to see how soon buses will arrive, and staff at the office locations help with any questions you have. At some locations there's a staff person at the bus stops to help out.

Hoho Cape Town was interesting with beautiful views. We weren’t able to go up Table mountain due to winds.

Brilliant - so easy to get on and off. Changeover on blue line to go to Winery at Constantia was very efficient. Commentary was great with some humour which made us smile. Harbour tour was great, if a little underwhelming but again, the commentary was informative and funny, in places. A great way to get a feel for Cape Town.

Good day, from 26-29 March stop number 3 and 4 were closed due to the Jazz Festival. We did have a staff member on duty who met all passengers at both stops and walked with them to closest stop. We hope that you enjoyed your time on the red bus!
I have given this an average score as a few of the bus staff dont seem to like their jobs, they are quite rude and miserable. Particularly in the office on Long street in Cape Town. If you dont like your job, get another. Also staff now seem to be more interested in their mobile phone life, than their job. Tourists expect a nice cheerful welcome, it leaves a good impression. The buses and the routes are fine, prompt and clean.
