The people, the languages, ostriches, baboons and PENGUINS
Amazing! We loved our tour guide Nana and our driver Zane. Very professional. So beautiful scenery and the penguin experience was everything I had hoped for. Nana gave us such great history on South Africa, its peoples and its languages. If you are lucky enough to get these two for your tour you are in for a fabulous day!

I am so glad we booked a guided tour! You definitely need a guide to navigate this trail in the dark. We had great support all along the way as well as some interesting stories and perspective about growing up in Cape Town. I really recommend this tour!

Amazing day in the Cape.
Felix was a very safe driver and imparted great information along the trip. He went out of his way to find animals in their natural environment for us to see. The whole day was great. Beautiful scenery, seals, penguins, ostrich and eland. Thank you for a remarkable experience.

Wonderful experience with an accommodating tour guide
The communication with the tour company, Beyond Africa Safaris, the day before the trip was somewhat difficult. I had trouble reaching anyone despite trying for several hours. However, we were eventually able to connect with both the company and our tour guide, Ibby, later that night, and everything went smoothly from there. Ibby was very accommodating throughout the tour. Since we had evening flights to catch, he kindly arranged for an earlier 8 AM departure for our group of 8, which essentially made it a private tour for us. He was mindful of the timing throughout the day and made sure we stayed on schedule while still enjoying the experience. The tour itself was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cape Town’s coastline, culture, and Table Mountain backdrop make it tempting to stay in the city, but there are a whole host of adventures to be had if you venture out. Whether heading to the Cape of Good Hope or Robben Island, taking a wine tour through Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, or spotting wildlife on safari, it’s all within easy reach. Along with expert guides and entrance fees, many tours include a delicious lunch stop, usually with a view, making Cape Town day trips the ideal way to experience the history, natural wonders, and wildlife reserves of the region.
