Best one-day tour (covers a lot)
This tour includes many sites in and around Cape Town. If you just have one day and want to pack in as much as possible, choose this tour. They made everything easy for us, handling transportation (including hotel pickup / dropoff), admission tickets, and frequent stops.

The half day tour was the...
The half day tour was the perfect amount of time. We were worried we would feel rushed, but we saw so much in our short time that it was perfect! Sadie and Mr Smiley were great drivers and host with some much information! They answered a lot of questions, stopped extra when we requested and helped us find some amazing stuff!

Lion’s Head Sunrise Hike
The sunrise hike of Lion's Head was a genuinely unique and amazing experience! Our guide, Idrees, was both friendly and knowledgeable about the mountain, local wildlife and botanicals, and Cape Town history and culture. If you can get your booking with him, you should do so hands down. The hike was definitely a physical challenge, so it should not be undertaken by the faint of heart. But the rewards are well worth the effort!

Informative, beautiful, well worth it.
You will experience the beauty of the Cape Shoreline and learn very much about the history of the area. We were visiting during June, which is their winter. It was around 64°F on one side of the mountain. It was cloudy. We crossed over a certain point and it was perfectly clear for the rest of the day you get marvelous views as seeing the penguins was delightful. David is an excellent well informed articulate Guide I would highly recommend him.

Book this trip
An absolute must if you visit Cape Town. Basically a highlight reel of the best views and trips the city has to offer. Mind-blowingly beautiful.
Massive shout out to Armando. Extremely knowledgable and engaging, super chill, great energy and sense of humour. He made the trip.

Great wine tasting..
Collected from the cruise terminal, headed straight to Stellenbosch, for a quick wander around the town, you don't Need long here, souvenirs / photos. On to Marianne vineyard,
Beautiful setting and a great biltong / wine pairing. (Yes we bought wine ) On to the next vineyard Fairview much bigger scale but very well set up. This time a cheese and wine pairing 6 fantastic bargain price wine, did not expect that. Great host at the vineyard (Yes we bought wine). Sean our driver / guide was Great. Slight issue with sound in the minibus. But he made up for this being very flexible with timing. Making sure we would be back to the port in good time. Despite me leaving my phone in the minibus 😔. After a call to Bosch travel. Sean was contacted and he drove all the way back to the port to deliver my phone. Now that's how you can tell a good honest tour operator and driver.. he was a star...

8/10 Solo travel friendly
This was a great tour 10/10 worth. Candy and Zane were great host. They were very accommodating. Tour starts at 8, mobile van with a/c and no large group. It is perfect for solo travelers. Lunch is not included but we stopped in a beautiful city before the wine tram for everyone to find a restaurant. Angel tears winery had to be my favorite but every winery has great tasting. Each one we spent a little less than hour there and candy stayed with us the entire time. I opted in for tasting included. Depending on your wine preferences it can be cheaper to opt out

Great tour, great guide and a great day exploring.
An excellent day exploring Table Mountain, Chapmans Peake Drive, the penguins at Boulder Beach and the Cape of Good Hope. It was made all the better and enjoyable by our excellent guide Fayical.
We thought the private tour was good value for money and particularly liked the fact that all admission prices were included.

Brilliantly surreal
It has been a real privilege to get so close to such a beautiful animal. The team at Cheetah Outreach carry out excellent work in protecting these wonderful creatures.
I would also like to give a big thanks to my driver Simba. I found him to be professional, funny and a genuinely interesting person, and I thoroughly enjoyed his company on the road.

Lovely guide and so many wines!
Pace yourself! At each winery you will have the opportunity to try different wines. At some of the wineries you won’t have any food accompaniment. You are able to order a fruit/ cheese platter for an additional fee. Bruce is a lovely tour guide with a lot of knowledge. At the first winery the cheeses paired with the wines were delicious.

Proof Humans Can Fly When Wallets Are Light Enough
Amazing views of Cape Town from above!
If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be a very nervous seagull, this is the tour for you. The whole ride was about 15–20 minutes — basically the length of one good panic attack — but wow was it gorgeous up there.
I would 100% do it again because bucket lists don’t cross themselves off. There are longer flights available, so if you want more time pretending you’re in a Mission Impossible movie (minus Tom Cruise and the stunts), definitely go for one of those.
10/10 views. 7/10 duration. Would recommend — especially if gravity has ever personally offended you. 😄✈️🌍

Great workout :)
It was a fun experience and the dunes are gorgeous! We got lucky and the rest of the tour didn’t show up so it was just me and my friend. There were also no other tours around which allowed for a great ‘just us’ experience.
We tried sandboarding as well. It was tough! I do wish thought we could sandboard as part of the ATV experience. We left our bikes and had to walk to and from sandboard place which, in sand and 30C, is not fun.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Cape Town’s coastline, culture, and Table Mountain backdrop make it tempting to stay in the city, but there are a whole host of adventures to be had if you venture out. Whether heading to the Cape of Good Hope or Robben Island, taking a wine tour through Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, or spotting wildlife on safari, it’s all within easy reach. Along with expert guides and entrance fees, many tours include a delicious lunch stop, usually with a view, making Cape Town day trips the ideal way to experience the history, natural wonders, and wildlife reserves of the region.
