Great South African wine tour with various experiences

Excellent visit to three wineries with various wines and pairings. Paul (tour guide) shared a lot of interesting facts as we drove, and Tando was a good driver. Overall very good value for the cost. Lunch was extra, but large portions for low cost. It was a plus to visit the prison where Nelson Mandela finally obtained his freedom. I highly recommend this tour.

My favorite tour

Last week my sister and I had an absolutely incredible time with Peter leading us through a day of wine tasting. The wines and scenery were fantastic, but it was really Peter who made the trip what it was. When he wasn’t acting as our personal photographer, he joked around with us and was also very insightful about life in South Africa. It was my favorite day of an incredible trip, and I can only highly recommend this tour!

A must do tour for wine lovers!

We had a fabulous day with John. He was friendly and so knowledgeable about wine and all of the beautiful wineries that we visited. It felt like we were hanging out with a friend who was also a wine expert. We visited 3 wineries and had a delicious lunch in between. It was a fabulous day in the South African wine country!

Above & Beyond

I had one last day in Cape Town, and was trying to squeeze in a lot. This trip did just that and more. Getting even a half hour to roam around Stellenbosch was a trip highlight; but then two very different (but both excellent) winery experiences really brought it home. I'd booked really last-minute, and initially I was going to be the only person on the tour. The company reached out with options, including letting me make it a private tour. Another couple ended up booking last-minute, too, so it ended up being a trio; but kudos to the tour company for willing to probably run the trip at a loss just to make sure I got my half-day tour. Overall, this was absolutely stellar if you're looking to pack in a lot outside of Cape Town in a very constrained time frame. Highly recommend.

All-inclusive isn't, but still a tour. Do it!

Don't forget, all-inclusive does not include the tickets you need to see the Cape, the penguins, or Table Mountain. Do not buy Table Mountain tickets until the morning of the tour. If the mountain is covered with clouds, you're not going and if you bought tickets in advance like they tell you to do, you're going to spend time getting a refund. Our guide, Martin, was superb! It's really sad to see people are TOO CHEAP to give your guide just $5 or $10 for a job WELL DONE. We were the only couple in the entire group to tip him. I guess the $20 they spent on lunch just broke the bank. PATHETIC. It was a day well spent. Now to get that refund.

Amazing Experience

I had an amazing experience visiting the two beautiful wine farms and Stellenbosch. The tour was well organised and exceeded my expectations. Our guide; Doney, was outstanding. She is so friendly, attentive and so knowledgeable of the wine regions and she even took her time explaining the history of Cape Town. The atmosphere, the wines, and Doney made it a truly memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Out of this world experience

This was the most beautiful activity we did in CPT. The cruise crew members were absolutely friendly, they took care of us for the entire time. The food at the restaurant at city grill was AMAZING. If I could, I’d give the whole experience rating 50 stars

Very beautiful experience with great people. The whole crew is so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our ride 🫶🏾 the booking process was very smooth especially with the app, what a lively atmosphere at the V&A I wish we arrived 3 hours earlier and had some brunch there and take photos. I’d advise a morning or midday booking as the CT wind can be very bad especially in the late afternoon . Overall it’s a 10/10 for me shem. Location, ambiance, experience!! Just amazing

The pre-sunset cruise was absolutely wonderful! There is something incredibly special about being out in the open ocean as the day begins to wind down. The views were breathtaking, and the atmosphere was calm, refreshing, and unforgettable. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. They created such a warm and welcoming environment onboard. It was the perfect way to relax and soak in the beauty of the ocean. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a memorable and peaceful outing.

Unexpectedly enjoyable

I was a little wary, but my kids and I had an amazing time. I did however chicken out on the sand boarding when I saw what I had to climb to get back up, I didn’t have the energy for that but my kids thoroughly enjoyed it and were exhausted by the end of it 😂 no gym I required after that trek
