Really great historical perspective for Jews and non-Jews
Ben gave a very informative history of Jewish life in Budapest and the Doheny St. synagogue. He was articulate , easy to be with and informative. The small group imitation to 12 people maximum is a plus. Ben shared stories of his family illustrating the prrsonal impact of history.

Lake Balaton Dream
Auti was right on time picking us up at our hotel. He was a great driver and told us interesting things about Hungary.
We had a lovely lunch overlooking Lake Balaton in Tihanyi a beautiful village where lavender grows. The village was nice to walk around and the monastery was a beautiful sight as well. Thx Auti for treating us very well.

Getting outside the big city
Rudy was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable about the region, the history, and the politics. He was open to answer all questions we had about the lifestyle and culture. The train trip out to the artist village was pleasant, and you were able to see sights outside the city. Would recommend this tour.

A perfect day in Bratislava
Our private day tour from Budapest to Bratislava was a perfect way to experience both the Hungarian and Slovak countryside. Our guide, Sofia, was thoughtful, experienced, knowledgeable, extremely attentive and most of all funny. She adjusted our plan for our gentle walker by suggesting we include the panoramic bus tour - which was the ideal way to see the city's highlights and views comfortably. We enjoyed a customized walking tour in the city's center, had a delicious lunch of local cuisine topped off by fantastic ice cream cone. The drive back to Budapest was equally as relaxing, informative, and enjoyable as the morning drive. Everything was seamless, well-paced, and exactly what we had hoped for having one day to see the city of Bratislava. Highly recommend, Sofia and this experience. We left feeling like we had made a friend for life.

We really enjoyed the...
We really enjoyed the tour. Szusan was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information on the historical significance of each place we went. The wine tasting was interesting and we enjoyed the lunch and shopping. The restaurant easily accommodated our vegetarian family member, which was appreciated. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this tour!

An ideal introduction to Budapest.
We booked this tour for our first day in Budapest, and it was an excellent experience. Our guide Sabi was very informative, covering the important buildings and history of the city along with recommendations for eating, travel and places to visit, all very clearly and with a nice sense of humor. Sabi looked after the group (about 20 ppl) very well, with plenty of stops and chats, and it lasted approximately 2 1/2 hours. It was a great introduction to the city, and we would recommend it to anyone.

Highly recommend this service
Shortly after booking this airport transfer, the service contacted to get get new details and confirm others. When I didn’t see their text on whatsapp, they sent a text through messenger to ensure I was aware of the details. They were at the airport on time. Driver was very courteous. Susana, our contact person, also came. She was very pleasant and answered all questions about Budapest. She also gave tips for seeing city sights and getting around city.

Thank you Beka!
This was our fourth Segway tour in a new city, as we find it a really fun and great way to get around. This tour did not disappoint, purely thanks to Beka, our guide. He was extremely friendly and easy to chat to, and shared interesting facts and information without being overbearing. We were able to ask questions and have great conversations, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him on the tour. He also sent us details of things to do in the city and gave us a fantastic recommendation to go up Gellért Hill for the sunset view. Thank you, Beka — you’re a star!
The only thing I would highlight is that the advertisement needs to be clearer, as the listing mentions visiting over 20 sites, which was not the case. We went across Elizabeth Bridge, up to Fisherman’s Bastion and the church, then back down and across Chain Bridge. This should be made clearer, as I have since found other reviews mentioning the same issue.

Fun, informative tour of Budapest
I loved this tour, it was a great way to see some of the sights and learn about the history of the city, and the importance of some of the buildings, and which ones were worth touring. Our tour guide, Rita, was amazing, super helpful and knowledgeable.

Best excursion ever
Learned a bit of the history of Budapest on the drive out of town, enjoyed the walking tour of Kecskemet, had a fantastic and filling lunch, followed by an amazing demonstration of the Hungarian horsemen. The van provided a comfortable ride and our guide (Yolonda) was very knowledgeable and friendly. What a great way to experience the Great Plains of Hungary!

High energy and interesting tour!!
Zsofia (Sophia). Was a high energy positive personality and gave a great tour of Budapest. We spent the majority of time driving in her car to various places starting with Pest and then moving over to Budapest. She offered a detailed explanation at each site and gave us Hungarian lessons along the way. We stopped and walked at several locations including Heroes square and St Mathias church. You can tell she had done this for decades as she has a mental script of everything and continues to talk all through driving in the chaotic traffic in the city. Budapest has the most wonderful architecture and is an interesting mix of classic architecture from late 1800s/early 1900s along with communist era brutalist buildings in various stages of maintenance. As an American, the long history of the Hungarians and all the occupations such as the Romans, the Ottoman Turks, the Hapsburg dynasty, Austria Hungarian empire, the Nazis, the Soviets, the long period of communism and then the transition to capitalism is fascinating!! Zsofia is a true Hungarian and loves to talk about her country. Now is probably not for everyone as like I stated she is high energy and forward which would probably not work for some subdued, less adventurous Americans, but it worked for us!!

Enriching tour with Susan
Susan was by far the most knowledgeable travel guide we ever experienced. She is a walking encyclopedia for all historical events not just our tour related. It was a very worthwhile experience showing the Danube bend towns/attractions along with key attractions in Budapest. Very enriching experience.
