Great tour with Elena
This is one of the best tours I’ve done in Romania. Elena was a great guide, very personable, and was very organized. She really made the history come alive and balanced the tour well with personal stories and the history of each place. Thank you for a great experience.

Constanta with Christian
It is a long trip and we started early at 7am. Being a weekend it was busy soon after getting on the motorway. Glad we didn’t leave later!!! Christian speaks English very well and is full of knowledge and passion for Romania. A safe and ‘efficient’ driver we had as many stops as we needed for food and bathroom breaks and still managed to get to Constanta with as much time as we wanted. If there is something that you especially wanted to do or see nothing was too much trouble for him. We had a swim in the Black Sea, enjoyed a few drinks at Mikes bar and then his recommendation of lunch at a Greek restaurant was much appreciated. No kickbacks just his personal recommendation. He showed us a few Mosques and the Casino and the local markets were on. It was a quick trip back and we thoroughly enjoyed his time and jokes.

Absolute must try if you're looking for a day trip from Bucharest
I would give this experience 6/5 stars if I could. Everything was above and beyond my expectations. Our guide Sebastian is a great driver with a lot of interesting insights about many subjects surrounding Romania and a great sense of humor. The locations selected for the trip were excellent and I felt like I was getting a great bang for my buck at all times

Great 1-day-trip, excellent guide
The guide Otilia and driver Filip were amazing.
From before start of the trip to the end, communication like departure location and time was great.
During the tour we not only visited the great locations, but were also transversing beautiful romanian mountains. Otilia was very entertaining in prividing us not only the stories regarding the castles and their history, but also of romanian people and culture in general.
Would definetly recommend this tour!

Chilling history and great storytelling!
I am a native of Bucharest living abroad for the past 3+ decades. I am aware of much of Bucharest's history, but not a whole lot of the spooky, gory and mysterious. So when I found this tour during my recent trip to Bucharest, I was intrigued! My son and I had a great evening delving into Bucharest's spooky history with our fantastic guide Tudor! He made the evening interesting and intriguing with his compelling story telling, leaving my son and I with quite a few stories to investigate on our own. Tudor was a phenomenal guide—incredibly knowledgeable, charismatic, and genuinely passionate about the local lore. Would definitely recommend this tour!

An outstanding historical tour of Bucharest
My girlfriend and I are visiting Romania for three weeks. She is Romanian but hasn't visited the country in over 20 years. For our first stop in Bucharest she compiled a list of landmarks to visit. We decided to do Bucharest Highlights Walking Tour to learn as much as possible about these landmark sites. Eduard, our tour guide, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Romanian history and it's centuries of changes and architectural influences by many different cultures. He was respectful of the group member's ages and diversity and made sure we were shaded from the hot sun at each stop point. My girl and I truly appreciated Ed's clarity in describing each Bucharest landmark. Thanks to Ed, we learned a lot about Romanian history and its complexity of architectural designs.

Bring a Coat and Enjoy!
We visited the salt mine, had lunch at a winery & saw Dracula’s tomb. The mine is cold, so bring a coat! Good deal of walking but worth the effort. Our guide, Laura was so helpful. Even returning an item we left. Would definitely recommend you bring a coat and enjoy this tour.

Interesting trip. Would recommend.
Interesting tour with Christian who was a great guide. A tip for others travelling. Bring something warmer to wear than you think you need. At first the 55 degree temperature feels fine but after an hour as your body temperature drops more it gets pretty chilly.

A safe, reliable, easy option for getting to and from the airport in Bucharest.
I booked cars from and to the airport at either end of my trip to Bucharest. The drivers were early both times, and got me safely to and from my hotel. It was such a comfort to not have to worry about finding a train or arranging an Uber, especially for my early morning flight out of Romania. I highly recommend this service!

Great intro to Bucharest
Had a 4 hour city tour with Toni interspersed between walking & being driven. Toni was an excellent guide & we ticked off all the key sights we wanted to visit. Especially enjoyed Revolution Square & understanding the detail around the overthrow of the communist government. Highly recommend this tour.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Bucharest is a vibrant capital that boasts lively neighborhoods, grand architecture, and a strong connection to Romanian history and folklore. Bucharest day trips often take you beyond the city, with guided tours to landmarks such as Bran Castle—also known as Dracula’s Castle—and the medieval town of Brașov. Other options include food and wine tastings, pub crawls through the Old Town, or day hikes in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. Considering the depth of culture and nature you’ll find in and outside of Bucharest, these tours are not to be missed.
