"Fangtastic" day!

The tour does not include entrance tickets & we were concerned that Libearty bear sanctuary tickets could sell out, however as soon as we booked we had a WhatsApp from the operator advising us to immediately book tickets for a specific time slot for Libearty. The guide picked us up on time at the arranged location, and was friendly and informative throughout the trip. The bear sanctuary was amazing, the in house guide told us the stories of the bears and we were lucky enough to see them being fed. We saw around 30 bears. We then carried on to Bran (Dracula's!) castle where our guide helped us purchase tickets and arranged a meeting point. He gave us information about the castle before we went in. Be aware there are a lot of steps in the castle and staircases were steep and narrow. We spent around an hour and a half in the castle before meeting our guide to go to Rasnov Fortress. Our guide took us to the fortress, helped us with funicular tickets, and accompanied us the the fortress entrance. Although the actual fortress is closed for repairs ( which we were aware of) we had great views from the inner courtyard. Our guide then drove us back to Brasov, arriving at 3.30pm. We would definitely recommend this tour - it made visiting the sanctuary and castle so much easier than by Uber or public transport.

Do it!

This was awesome! About a 45 minute drive to the spot where you get to sit in a little hut with one way windows and sit in beautiful nature and wait and watch for bears. We were lucky and saw about 5 that day. The guide was so knowledgeable and shared so much enthusiasm and love for these beautiful animals!

Take me back!

Even before the tour began this company was amazingly helpful. We have found some tours to be too rushed but this not only introduced you some of the great sites of the world but also allowed breaks to really enjoy and take in what you were seeing. What can I say about Traian? He was amazing making sure all our experiences were perfect. He was the master tour guide!

Wonderful day

A truly wonderful day and experience. Our guide Tiberiu adjusted the itinerary due to weather and our preparedness (bring hiking boots!) and we spent the morning hiking in a canyon before having a wonderful lunch, then hiking through mountains and fields. It was all beautiful and Tiberiu was an excellent guide.

Could not have been better!!

Alin was awesome. He was in contact the day before to ensure we were prepared, scheduled pick up, and was a wealth of knowledge. Since we were the only ones in the group, Alin was kind enough to drop us at the train station instead of back at the hotel. We had great conversations, and Alin pointed out some amazing views and random things we would have missed if on our own. If booking a tour for the Bear Sanctuary, or Bran Castle. Choose Alin!!!

Very good tour, you need...

Very good tour, you need to buy Peles castle tour tickets before the date of your tour to secure a visit inside. The guide Alin was very knowledgeable and friendly he made every effort to make sure there was enough time at each place without rushing Toilets at the castles were annoying as there were always such long queues but that is not the tour operators fault, we had great weather which really helped especially when visiting the garden at the last castle which was also an extra charge.

A fantastic experience with a brilliant tour guide!

To anyone not sure whether they should spend the extra money on a private tour, I would say absolutely yes! Dinu, our guide was absolutely fantastic. We arrived to Brasov by train from Budapest and had to leave again for a very specific train to continue to Bucharest that night. He monitored our train's progress and was there to greet us at the station as we arrived and he made sure that we were back in time for our evening train too. At every step, he was happy to customise our tour to our liking including taking us to a couple of food spots to try out some traditional dishes. The tour has quite a bit of driving, but there was never an awkward moment between him telling us about the history of Romania and the castles, answering our questions and just sharing stories from our lives. He offered to take lots of pictures of us and patiently waited (and joined!) when we wanted to say hi to the local cats 😅 Dinu made sure that our tour was a memory that will last forever and we wish him all the best.

Great experience greater guide!!

I have difficulty walking and my husband is an avid photographer. Radu immediately sensed my needs and my husband’s desires. He was willing to adjust our schedule to make this experience wonderful for both of us. He stopped along the road many times for pictures knowing the perfect spot and angle for the best shots. He was very diligent in making sure I was safe and comfortable. I was certainly able to see more because he cared. He knew to take us to a shuttle so I could experience Sighisoara without much walking. Radu was exceptionally considerate with both me and my husband. And to top it off he had a great sense of humor. Ramona at the office was quickly responsive every time we had a question. I would highly recommend their wonderful experience.

A lovely scape into medieval Romania

We had a fantastic day exploring several beautiful medieval Saxon villages, and the whole experience was absolutely delightful. The weather was perfect, the scenery was stunning, and our guide, Charlie, made everything even better with his great sense of humor and his clear, engaging explanations. We had a wonderful traditional lunch in Viscri — the food was incredibly delicious — and the pace of the tour was relaxed and comfortable. With only two couples in the group, we had plenty of time to explore each place, enjoy the atmosphere, and even sit down for a coffee without any rush. It was a truly lovely day, and we left feeling enchanted by the region. We highly recommend this tour and our guide, Charlie.

Excellent trip with Valentin

We had an excellent trip with Valentin. He took us all the planned locations, gave us enough time to explore on our own as well as shared a lot of information on Romania. The best part was the conversations wr had on the long drives since Valentin is well aware of the world in general i.e. geo politics, world history, current affairs, culture, etc., which made our trip so much better. Guide with a heart. ❤️🐈‍⬛

The castles, fortress, and monastery were great. Our guide was very knowledgeable. But that’s not the highlight of the trip. We parked to go to the castle and we heard a cat meowing. We followed the sound to a pipe sticking out of the ground - it went about 2M in to the ground and there was a kitten stuck at the bottom. Our guide called for help on her phone and some employees from the restaurant came out and we spent about 30-45 minutes rescuing the kitten (we tried many methods). We were successful and I think everyone felt better for sticking around and doing the right thing. We are certainly taking home a unique memory from the trip.
