Our full day tour with Traian was wonderful and we fully enjoyed our Transylvania experience in comfort and style. We visited the amazing fortress at Rupea, the Saxon village and church at Viscri and the breath taking citadel at Sighisoara. These are all places that you must not miss. We highly recommend this tour we thoroughly enjoyed our day and appreciate Traian sharing all his local knowledge with us. Thank you.

Very friendly and educational tour guide and fun and beautiful visit to the castles. My daughter and I had this as our top attractions to see and it did not disappoin. Must see places while in Transylvania and would highly recommend booking this tour.

This tour was awesome and Charlie made it so enjoyable it felt like I was hanging out with a friend all day. The insight into the history if these places was awesome. The authentic food at Viscri was just what we were hoping for. Overall great tour and the best tour guide I have ever had and I truly mean that.

Lucian was an amazing guide. As I had requested, we did the Bucegi hike, which was a trail up to a beautiful viewpoint and back. Although Lucian, a legitimate mountain rescue guide, could have no doubt easily run up and down the trail backwards, he never made me feel slow and awkward (which I was), and graciously lent me his poles on the way down. He was extremely professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and generous -- he also took fantastic pictures which he then promptly shared.

Useful info sent to us about the tour a day prior, pick up was on time, friendly and informative guide and what an experience to be able view bears in their natural habitat like this. Highlight of our trip and would go again in a heart beat. I work in travel myself and highly recommend

The tour does not include entrance tickets & we were concerned that Libearty bear sanctuary tickets could sell out, however as soon as we booked we had a WhatsApp from the operator advising us to immediately book tickets for a specific time slot for Libearty. The guide picked us up on time at the arranged location, and was friendly and informative throughout the trip. The bear sanctuary was amazing, the in house guide told us the stories of the bears and we were lucky enough to see them being fed. We saw around 30 bears. We then carried on to Bran (Dracula's!) castle where our guide helped us purchase tickets and arranged a meeting point. He gave us information about the castle before we went in. Be aware there are a lot of steps in the castle and staircases were steep and narrow. We spent around an hour and a half in the castle before meeting our guide to go to Rasnov Fortress. Our guide took us to the fortress, helped us with funicular tickets, and accompanied us the the fortress entrance. Although the actual fortress is closed for repairs ( which we were aware of) we had great views from the inner courtyard. Our guide then drove us back to Brasov, arriving at 3.30pm. We would definitely recommend this tour - it made visiting the sanctuary and castle so much easier than by Uber or public transport.

Our driver picked us up in a very comfortable car, with heated seats, which is great for the time of year we were visiting. December is cold, and there was a lot of snow, so make sure you have appropriate clothing! You don’t need hiking or snow boots unless you want to do a little climbing for views and pictures. In December, you won’t see bears lining up at the side of the road like you might at other times of the year and the views are very dependable on the weather. In extreme weather or wind the cable car is unlikely to run. We were very lucky and although it was super misty, the cable car was in operation. We didn’t get to enjoy full views on the cable car due to the mist, but when we reached the lake the sun came out and it was very beautiful. Sunglasses are recommended as the glare of the snow made it really hard to open our eyes for pictures 😆 Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us lots about the history of the places we drove through or stopped at. Make sure you fully understand the pros and cons of the time of year you visit - all seasons will have very different things to offer! We would like to come back in the summer to get full benefit of the views, see the bears, and see the lake when it is not frozen over. That said, seeing this area in the snow was a very unique experience and it was a really breathtaking view. And whilst you may not get bears, there are lots of friendly dogs around the cable car 🚠 Top stars for the guide who was great and took lots of pictures of us 🤣

The castles, fortress, and monastery were great. Our guide was very knowledgeable. But that’s not the highlight of the trip. We parked to go to the castle and we heard a cat meowing. We followed the sound to a pipe sticking out of the ground - it went about 2M in to the ground and there was a kitten stuck at the bottom. Our guide called for help on her phone and some employees from the restaurant came out and we spent about 30-45 minutes rescuing the kitten (we tried many methods). We were successful and I think everyone felt better for sticking around and doing the right thing. We are certainly taking home a unique memory from the trip.
