From the moment we arrived, they made everyone feel welcome with their warmth, humor, and genuine passion for what they do. Their knowledge of local cuisine and traditions added so much depth to the experience—it felt like more than just a class, but a true taste of Bologna’s culture. The atmosphere they created was relaxed, engaging, and so much fun. We loved meeting people from all over the world, sharing stories while learning how to make authentic pasta from scratch. Every step was explained clearly, with plenty of hands-on guidance, and lots of laughs along the way. And the food—absolutely incredible. From the rich, flavorful ragù to the perfectly crafted pasta, refreshing spritz, lovely wine, and indulgent gelato, everything we made (and enjoyed!) was delicious. The setting itself was just as special—intimate, charming, and the perfect backdrop for such a memorable experience. This was a very good tour. We were messaged the day before with details of pick up location and time, we were also asked if we would like a packed lunch - which we ordered - it was fresh and tasty. First we were taken to the salt mine, where you are lead around by an onsite guide, then onto Auschwitz concentration camp and then onto Auschwitz II Birkenau. Both tours were lead by an official guide. This tour package is highly recommended as the salt mines and camps are in two opposite areas, All couch travel and entrance fees are included, you have set times to go in, so you are not waiting in long lines. It is a full day tour and very well organised.

Excellent trip. Received email confirmation of pick up time and location day before the trip. Picked up from the hotel in an 8 seater mini coach. Driver was on time and very polite. Only 2 other pick ups within 5 minutes. Good journey there. Driver was very informative and stayed with us until the tour started. He provided his number so we could contact him when we had finished. Good journey back. If you are wondering if it’s worth a visit I would say definitely yes.

An amazing experience - so interesting. Our guide was brilliant. She gave us so much information and was so pleasant and helpful. Be prepared for the stairs. Wear comfortable shoes. Wouldn't think it's a suitable experience for someone with mobility issues.

Great day trip!

This is a very long, very tiring and emotionally exhausting day. If you have the time split the two trips but if you are limited on time prepare for a long day! The transport is brilliant and the tours grand. It really does help which guide you get. This is my second time visiting both attractions and the guide at Auschwitz wasn’t the best. But the guide at the salt mines was brilliant. Well worth the visits.

Incredible VIP Experience through the heart of Emilia Romana

This was an experience of a lifetime. From the moment we were picked up until the end of the day we felt well taken care of and treated like VIPs. Despite being fairly adventurous on our own, my husband and I both believe we would have never made it to all of these places and received the same treatment in just one day. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Our driver was great fun and on the return journey he gave us lots of information about the city and was very informative. Our Salt Mine tour guide was amazing and it was interesting to hear his dad once worked as a miner in the Salt Mine. All in all a great experience, I would definitely recommend booking this experience and visiting the Salt Mine. The only downside was the night before our pick up time changed to one hour earlier, but this did not effect the overall experience.

Excellent tour for foodies!

We had an awesome experience. Our tour guide Ares did a fantastic job explaining all of the dishes. He also shared shopping and restaurant/bar recommendations while we walked from one location to another. We informed the tour operator in advance about vegetarians in our group and they made good arrangements. If you have not visited Bologna before, be prepared for lots of walking, narrow streets and large crowds.
