Unable to have partner share the experience no one on site to help figure it out very disappointed . Also difficult to navigate how to arrive to the different sites.

Unfortunatly sometimes gps is not 100%. That's why we built in the option to manualy activate the story's...
I think you tried to reach Viator, since we did not receive any help request from you.

The self tour is well done and it includes historical site information and practical info on place to eat and check out.
The walking tour app worked well getting me to the sights, but once there was no narration. And of course I was guided to the most popular attractions so found myself walking from a quiet street into a mob of tourists all at the same attraction. I abandoned the tour after a few more tourist mobs and explored happily on my own.
Completely unusable. Despite paying and getting code sent, I was unable to enter the code in the app. Went round in circles, never reaching a page where it asked for the code. I have asked for a refund, but no response.

In sorry to hear you did not get to enjoy the tour in Bologna. I have checked your booking and can see that you did not use our app at all...When you open our app, the only thing visible is a field to enter the 6-digit code... Your description leads me to believe that you have tried to use the Viator app to follow our audio tour.

First time trying the audio tour and it was great to spend time at different landmarks at our own pace, and even stopped over at nearby places along the route. We made sure to get the e-Sim with 3 GB data plan on our phone and fully charged bluetooth earbuds. This gave us a good hearing on the city to explore on our own later. Hope Viator offers similar self tours in other cities.
