Walk there if you can..under the porticos almost the whole way from city center…a wonderful evening of learning how to make tortellini and tagliatelle! wine was flowing free all night.. never knew Tiramisu only takes 5 minutes to make!! And delicious!! My only complaint was that I wanted more!!!!

We arrived approximately 10 minutes early for the lesson, having walked from our hotel. However, we were advised to return later. When we did return, we were approximately 5 minutes late. Upon entering the fourth-floor flat, I immediately realized there was a cat present, triggering my phobia and allergy. The host's response was rather curt, stating that they couldn't remove the cat as it might scratch their door. They offered little assistance. I retreated to the small kitchen as the cat remained in the living room throughout the evening, fortunately. It's worth noting that our Viator booking ticket made no mention of a cat. Despite this, the host demonstrated good cooking skills, and their simple tiramisu was excellent. However, I wish they had shown more consideration for us as clients. Additionally, other participants in the class received wine and we were not offered untill much later. I would ask you look at other sites before you book.

first you guys arrived 17 minutes before class, and as I said I was still preparing for class so obv we could not start since there were 8 people in class. AS FOR MY CAT I did just tell you that IT WAS WRITTEN in description that I got a small red cat named ragu', so if you DONT read and then complain is NOT my problem...I cant kick out of my house my cat or either close it in a room bc first he gets crazy and is not fair also your husband asked you what you wanted to do...if staying or living..and you debated for 5 minutes and I had people waiting to start class and it's not nice however I knew you were not allergic but just as YOU said had cat phobey since not even a sneze... I advise you to read what you buy before complaining I think i've learnt this rule when I was aproximately 8 years old :)

i got no clue what this review is about! first its a cooking class and not a tour so what you are complaining about? where would I had to take you !??! I think this person is talking about a different activity and got confused!

Where do I start? If you like waiting out in the street for for 15 minutes while he gets ready, if you like to walk up 4 flights of stairs because the elevator doesn’t work, if you like to being greeted without him introducing himself, if you like being led into a 10’ x 15’ kitchen and sitting on a bench for 3 people and a chair (there were 4 of us) with one sitting on a chair, (we were told that 4 others cancelled because he had a cat and there was absolutely no way that 8 people could have possibly fit), if you want to be offered underbaked pizza with tomato sauce that no one ate and inexpensive White wine, if you want to watch him make pasta dough and each of us watch each other knead the dough and run it through the pasta maker (imagine if there was 8 of us), if you wanted to watch him cut the pasta for tortellini and tagliatelle, if you wanted to taste already made ragu that we all tasted out of the pan and then watch him make the sauce( no participation) then being served in the living room on a small table (no way room for 8), finally introducing himself and his cat “Ragu”, while all the time being condescending, and criticizing restaurants we had eaten at and providing restaurants that I followed up on that were either closed or not well reviewed, then you will probably like it. When I viewed Viator reviews, he criticized one that was negative stating that “she was looking at her phone the entire time” I now know why. He seemed disinterested and simply going through the motions. You can learn just as much from a good You Tube pasta presentation. Bon Appetite!

GOOD REVIEW GENIUS! NOW I START AS WELL... You waited 15 minutes bc as WRITTEN online meeting time is at 10.30...if you arrive 30 min before what can i do!?! you waited yes 15 min outside...I ever opened the door 15 min before for you..You can t come when you want... yes you are right elevator was broken for few days in my bulding...but well what can i do?! my fault?! in my kitchen there is NO bench...each person has a chair...I have 8 chairs..one for each person in the class.. my kitchen is a nice and big one, where 8 people fit perfectly.... I never got a complain about it in 4 years and in over 5000 people...so I dont even bother myself to argue about it moreover, you were 4 so plenty of space!!! Especially in my leaving room that is 40 square meters!!!!!!!! Regarding wine I serve local wine and best grapes possible, nothing is cheap...but I dont think we can discuss about wine or food colture with you that probably eat at your best at chilis or outback drinking dratf beer LOL ragu is obv pre maid by me...since If you do a bit of research it takes 5-6 hours to be made...if you like i make it with you but you would it a crappy one like u are probably used to ....GENIUS! I usually try to help people with some local GOOD tips where to drink and eat...since I hate to end up in turists traps in any city if I m not local I reccomend just best in town, where I go to eat personally Each person loves my tips and apriciate my efford I undestand I cant be liked by all the people who attend my class over 2000 a year... so im not worry and I don t really care about your opinion since you probably still drunk from my "cheap" wine LOL

It was a nice evening of making pasta and dinner. Great group of people in attendance. As far as the culinary activities, it was very basic. Fred has great personality. The evening was entertaining and enjoyable.

The description offered welcoming warm pizza which we didn’t get. It also said making 3 pastas and we did 2. The ad does say 3 Fred so you should check your advert before criticising people in such a harsh way. The class went fast because you pushed it that way to suit you. When reading your other reviews I should have taken more notice of the negative ones and went with that. You’re out to make a lot of money in as little time possible with least amount of effort, and you need to not touch your hair when “teaching” hygiene…. We were only 5 and how 8 people would have a hands on experience would be a joke!!!! Yes and you were probably expecting my review also.

FIRST I THINK YOU DID NOT LEARN HOW TO READ WHEN IN SCHOOL....IF YOU READ MY DESCRIPTION SAYS WE MAKE 2 KINDS OF PASTA, TORTELLONI AND TAGLIATELLE...WHERE THE HELL I SAY 3????? im sorry you are right about pizza it was my fault and I did apologized in person to class at beginning bc I just got back from holiday the morning after 1 month and did not received the supplies in time to make pizza Moreover, you were 5 people...you worked super fast since some of you did pasta before...you had lunch...you finished class at 1pm instead 1.30...what can I do about?? I did not push you to eat fast or kicked you out of house... I have 8 people everyday and obv with bigger class we make MORE pasta so all have lots of hands on! it's all in proposions My class is around 3hours, that is max time for experience..it's NOT a rule... I knew you were a pain in the A## since you entered the house!

While we enjoyed the cooking class, it was not exactly as advertised. The class was only 2 hours long. There wasn’t a welcome snack of pizza and only 2 pastas were prepared rather than 3. Perhaps the class description should be adjusted accordingly.

first of all your classes lasted 2.5 hours, you finished at 1 pm class was just with 5 people yesterday so obv was a bit faster bc as I told you, you were working more and made pasta faster.. I didnt kick you out the house... YES YOU DID 2 KINDS OF PASTA AS IT IS DESCRIBED IN DESCRIPTION...I VE NOT CLUE WHERE YOU READ 3.. check again before complaining...

I guess you might be drunk or something...first i'm in holiday so there is no class that you could book second in case you get a message with a different time (that can happen when is overbooked class..since it's top experience in town) it means you got informed last but not least I live in city center...how cant be a safe area LOL i've not clue where you went to..

Absolutely fantastic! This was the highlight of my trip to Bologna. My Mum and I did the class with a lovely group of people and chef Fred was great. Funny, welcoming and an excellent chef. Was great fun making pasta and learning about the recipes. He even sent us the recipes after the course to try at home! 10/10 recommend this course to anyone. Thank you Fred, it was a pleasure.

Low quality of ingredients, very basic and poor technique in pasta making, very small time with hands on for the limited physical space. Flavour of end preparations very poor and lack of taste. On top of this very low hygienic method. I have done other experience similar to this one in other parts of Italy that I would like to come back..this is not the occasion and I wouldn't recommend to a friend. I'm a disappointed customer.

oh yeah! I was waiting for your review...I know people well! YOU SPENT CLASS TO TAKE SELFIES AND JUST TAKE PICS OF EVERYTHING...you didnt do any work...you didnt want to get your hands dirty and were worried for nails.... what can I reply more?! Hygienic is super high at my place..in fact after you finished working in kitcken you saw the cleaning lady arriving that cleans everyday before and after class... moreover...you asked me chili pepper to put on ragu'----this shows the quality of your taste lol! i think you should stick with libanese food...

This was a fantastic experience. Federico communicated well with us about the cooking class and accommodated us when the class we initially booked on was full. The class itself was fun, lighthearted but we also learned quite a few things about making fresh pasta (tortelloni and tagliatelle), ragu and tiramisu. Federico was a great host, teacher and had a good sense of humour. The ragu was one of the best we have ever had. We are considering buying a pasta machine to make our own too!

thanks for this review...you exactly got what you paid for. first you arrived to my house 20 min late of start of class.. you didn t want to do anything beside taking selfies and posting pics on social and also complaining of how much costed class and how much money I was making that I though was very unpropriate bc first my class has a right price compared to market and moreover nobody forced to buy it! when I asked you to dip a ladyfinger in coffee (not a really hard task) you told me you were too stressed what can I do ? just a laugh!
