I am a professional chef with many years of experience. I have worked even outside Italy. I am great expert of our gastronomy and expert of the traditional Bologna kitchen. We will enjoy preparing the Ragù typical Bolognese Sauce and two kind of handmade pasta: tortelloni and Tagliatelle. At the end I will send by mail all the slides of recipes we have done together. I will explain everything step by step to prepare these delicious dishes.

Depending on the day, visit the Mercato del Quadrilatero (a market with medieval origins) or del Erbe where Giovanna buys her seasonal fruit and vegetables. Here, you can buy local and regional produce, from fruit and vegetables to meat, cheese, and salami. Return to Giovanna's home kitchen where she will teach you 2-3 traditional Italian dishes from family recipes - a pasta, sauce and a side or dessert. After cooking, enjoy your meal together with your host, a warm and gentle retired history and philosophy teacher who lives in an apartment in a large villa with her daughters.
