What are people saying about Bologna

A great day out for supercar lovers
Definitely take up the option to do a test drive. Factory guided tours thru Lamborghini & Pagani. I could have spent days in the Ferrari museum. Lunch in a local family run restaurant was lovely. Communication from tour company was well handled & our driver (Ricci) was very knowledgeable.

Perfect Combination
This tour was a perfect balance of walking, Information, food tasting and drinking. Our guide Stefania was very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. The only improvement we could suggest would be to include a selection of tomatoes from the market with the cheese and pork cold cuts. We think it would have been nice to taste the various different types of tomatoes as this would be a very different experience for us. This doesn’t take away from the tour as it exists it is merely a suggestion.

Mattia was a fantastic...
Mattia was a fantastic guide and made every effort to tell us more about the local culture and answer any questions. The pasta, charcuterie, wine, balsamic vinegar and gelato were all delicious and a small group of around 10 made it easy to hear Mattia and made the tour efficient.

Excellent relatively quick tour, highly recommend!
Christiano was an excellent tour guide and showed us many sights of Bologna. The history and tension between Bologna and the papacy/Rome was very interesting. He also showed how intertwined the University is with the city. Teens, parents and a grandparent - everyone stayed engaged and learned a great deal about a city we'd never seen before this trip.

Often overshadowed by Italy’s more famous cities, Bologna offers a quieter, culture-rich base for exploring the north. As the capital of the Emilia-Romagna region, it’s a top destination for food-focused travelers, and tours often include tasting regional specialties such as prosciutto, Parmigiano Reggiano, and balsamic vinegar. However, Bologna day trips go beyond food, with guided tours to nearby highlights including the Chianti wine region, the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, and historic cities such as Ravenna. With round-trip transportation and local guides included, these tours make it easy to discover the best of Italy’s north in one day.
