What are people saying about Berlin

Jimmy was an extremely...
Jimmy was an extremely knowledgeable guide on our walking tour.
He explained facts around Berlins history and the rise , and fall, of the Third Reich with an engaging and inclusive manner and treated difficult issues with sensitivity.
He spent time at each stop to explain the significance of them and left a good amount of time at stops we could look at in more detail
He recommended places to visit not just in the city but also surrounding areas
I would highly recommend this tour.

Great cycling tour
Very informative tour led by our excellent guide Maggi. Bikes were comfortable and the riding easy (Berlin is flat). We saw and learnt about the major points of interest while exploring the city. Lots of fun and I highly recommend doing this tour. See more than on a walking tour!

Perfect way to learn the history of Berlin!
We had a wonderful guide named Jasper, who took us all through the historical Berlin area. As we walked He explained all the main monuments and told us the history of Berlin from the Prussians through World War II. We learned so much! He was a fabulous tour guide!

Our guide, Kai, was both very knowledgeable and entertaining, a difficult balance to strike, but we both very much enjoyed this tour. He held our attention for the whole 3.5 hours and pointed out so many places of interest and general information to help with the rest of our time in Berlin.

Great food and history tour.
Dania was great. She was very personable and provided lots of information about the former East Berlin area. The food and drinks were also excellent...especially the doner kabobs (which I had a couple more times before leaving Berlin). This is a great way to really get a taste of authentic German food and drink. Highly recommend.

Powerful and Insightful Sachsenhausen Tour with Mihail
A deeply moving and informative experience. Mihail was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, respectful, and able to explain the history with real clarity and sensitivity. The tour of Sachsenhausen was incredibly impactful and thoughtfully delivered. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Berlin

Good!
This was a most cost effective way to get a good introduction to Potsdam from Berlin. Miguel is a character, in a good way, he presented the complex Hohenzoller dynasty in a way that really stuck and was interesting & helped navigate the many sights. The sights are in a wide area, I realised how I should spend at least 36 hours there to find out and enjoy everything I now know.

Eye opening experience
Peter was an incredible guide! He was so knowledgeable and kept our interest as he helped us understand the atrocities that happened there. There were many crowds of visitors but Peter was able to make sure we saw everything and could hear all the information about this terrible time in history.

Great tour - I’m terrible at titles.
Loved this tour. Rob our guide was fantastic! He really knew what he was talking about and his passion for the topic was engaging and infectious - it really makes a difference having a guide who is genuinely enthusiastic about what they are sharing. Won’t deny being able to share some cultural references as an Australian solo traveller was nice. I appreciated the chance to grab a hot choc and a snack midway through! Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Super worth it.
Katia (forgot spelling) was so lovely and super knowledgable. She was so generous with her time and had some rwally intricate and leftfield stories that as someome who has decent knowledge already if Berlin and irs history were really value ads for me.

Great introduction to the foods of Berlin
This was such a nice tour! Marta was great, sharing so much history and insight with us. The weather was terrible and we were the only ones crazy enough to book a walking tour. Most operators probably would have cancelled. We were so happy she did not. Berlin is a fascinating city and Marta pointed out so many interesting places. The food and beer were fantastic. We finished at a brewery where we ended up spending a few more hours by ourselves. Over the course of the tour, we walked by so many restaurants of cuisines we love. After the tour ended, Marta sent us a comprehensive list of her favorites. It was extremely thoughtful.

Great overview of Cold War Berlin
Jasper was a great guide who made the tour come alive for the group. He was very informative and very responsive to our questions.
The tour was well paced and Jasper was adept at keeping the group together, which was especially important as it involved travelling on the Berlin u-bahn to visit some of the sites. Although we had visited some of the sites before, Jasper gave us a deeper appreciation of Cold War Berlin.
