What are people saying about Berlin

Excellent tour
This was an excellent tour. Our guide Mikey is very knowledgeable about Berlin history and has a great sense of humour. The tour was 3 hours long, but time flew by. Mikey also gave us recomendations of where to go. This tour was very interesting, and I would definitely recommend it, especially at the start of your holiday, as you'd have a better idea of where to explore after.

Pottsdam
We had a lovely tour with Patrick. He was knowledgeable and engaging. The tour started at a youth hostel that has a wc in the basement. Patrick helped us purchase ABC tickets for our journey. Pottlsdam was absolutely lovely. The gardens and homes were stunning. It was so nice to be on a tour and not have to figure out where to go. Patrick had interesting commentary along the way. We saw the outside of structures and walked through the gardens. We did not enter the buildings. We had a break in the middle when we could eat lunch and shop. After the break we walked to the Sanssouci Palace and enjoyed the views, grounds and Patrick's commentary. We then had a choice to stay in Pottsdam or return via train to Berlin. We left Pottsdam around 4. If it hadn't been so hot, many of us may have stayed longer. Pottsdam is a lovely town with interesting places to eat and shop. I highly recommend this tour especially with Patrick as your guide.

Great knowledge, great tour.
Ru did an amazing job guiding us through the streets and the history of Berlin, both ancient and modern. His depth of knowledge was unparalleled, and he brought a quit passion to the day. Beyond that, he helped us figure out the baffling train system and ticketing. And, he helped us with information about the Punk club we were going to the evening of the tour.

We had Xavier as our tour...
We had Xavier as our tour guide and I was absolutely astounded by his depth of knowledge on the topics discussed - responding aptly to any question presented to him. Also, Xavier made an active effort to get to know each group on the tour - even going to the lengths to ask some group members how to say “thank you”/ other relevant phrases in their native language so he can be better informed. I also noticed Xavier giving verbal descriptions of each photo presented to someone in our group with a visual impairment without being prompted - though this gesture in itself may seem like something small, his determination to give everyone as enjoyable an experience as possible speaks to a great empathy in his character.
Big ups Xavier!

Excellent! Full of history, you will learn so much!
Our tour guide was absolutely fabulous. He presented material that is not always easy, fun, or even comfortable, in a very accessible; thoughtful way. We learned so much in the 2 hour tour. And, because we were here during an unprecedented heat wave, he was very accommodating, making are we were in the shade as much as possible, and even shared his water with my 81-year old mother. Cannot say enough good things about this tour.

Our guide, Xavier, was a delightful host. He was very informative, had lots of knowledge about everything, and allowed enough time for everyone to take photos. He ensured everyone on the tour was comfortable at all times, considering it was quite hot.

Invaluable Insight and Guidance, Highly Recommend
I am so glad I booked a tour instead of doing this on my own. Our tour guide, Ariel, l was incredibly knowledgeable and brought insight to the history of the camp that was invaluable. I enjoyed that the tour gave us time to look through the exhibits, but also our guide pointed out the important pieces that could easily get lost in the fold of a large complex. The guide was also kind and willing to answer any and all questions we had. I would definitely recommend this tour to others wanting to visit.

Yummy and interesting tour!
Book this on a Sunday if you can, it’s much less crowded in the city and you can really take your time and relax. We tried so many delicious foods and walked through some very fun spots - it’s a lot of fun and you end at a cozy Biergarten with three large dishes and beers! A great way to eat and learn - come hungry!

Awesome bike tour- Maggi rocks!!
This is a great bike tour!! Maggi, our guide, did an amazing job making it fun, informative, and well-paced. At every landmark he clearly explained its significance, related an evocative story about it, and gave us a chance to ask questions. I sometimes have trouble hearing tour guides, but Maggi always spoke quite clearly. There’s a 15 minute bathroom break approximately halfway through. There were absolutely no hills on the entire route, so you can confidently pick the regular (non-ebike) option. There are frequent stops, and they’re all fairly close together, so this is not a strenuous ride.

Berlin must see and do!
Our guide Roshanna met us at the meeting point which was easy enough to find and from the start she generously shared information and facts. We walked and talked and interacted easily. It was a small group and we covered a lot of ground. We were never hurried, And we went to extra places and went well over our allotted 3 hours. By days end we were spent because we went to all the other recommendations provided by Roshanna. Tip book in to the d pm me and see the view from the top!

Outstanding Tour Highly Recommend
The street food tour was excellent. Marta, our guide, was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the area we visited. She managed the time efficiently, starting and ending the tour on time. She took us to some very tasty places, including a traditional sausage in ketchup and curry sauce, a decadent pastry shop, an amazing kebab cafe, and a local beer tasting establishment. She shared a lot of information about the Berlin food culture and some of her personal experiences as an Italian living in Berlin. Overall, an amazing tour. Marta also provided several other restaurant recommendations, including one that serves the best lasagna outside of Italy. You’ll need to request her to get the name of the restaurant.
