What are people saying about Berlin

One of the best ways ever to see a city quickly or get oriented
We had a very limited time in Berlin. Leo picked us up and dropped us off at our requested spots. We got to see much more than we could have on a walking tour or car tour because the bike was faster than walking and had access to places a car couldn’t go. We rode through the Brandenburg Gate, rode through the adjacent beautiful park and pulled up to many key historical sites. I highly recommend this way to see a city quickly or to get oriented to a new city. We loved it.

Perfect day in Berlin.
Growing up, I didn't have a good feeling toward Berlin--The cold war, Berlin Wall, Hitler, WWII, Nazis, etc. However, today, Valeri showed us a city, I found to be vibrant, beautiful, modern, historical and inviting! The private tour of the city allowed us to see all the historic sites including pieces of the Berlin Wall- still Remember President Reagan saying, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" We also saw where Hitler's bunker had been, the railroad platform where the Jews were taken to be transported to concentration camps, the topography of terror, the bullet holes in the old buildings of East Berlin and much more. During the tour, Valeri also took photographs of us and later sent them to me.
We also stopped for coffee and German chocolates. It was a perfect day- the rain didn't even bother us. Valeri supplied umbrellas and water for our convenience too.

Had such an informative & fun tour with Alex today despite the sometimes dark subject matter. He was funny, respectful & well informed.
We took our 14 & 16 year olds along too. They learnt so much more than they did at school within the first 10 minutes. Huge shout out Alex! Respect 😎🙌

Best Option for Berlin from the cruise port
Campbell was a fabulous guide in the city of Berlin. He was enthusiastic and full of interesting facts. As advertised, we were picked up at our ship in a luxury bus with the most comfortable seats for our three hour drive from the cruise port. Highly recommend this tour for cruisers.

Book this private tour. Excellent for whole family.
Bastian was our guide. Knowledgeable, highlighting main tourist attractions and background information. Very friendly, great sense of humour, and made everyone in our group feel a part of the experience. There were 5 of us. Even our late teens loved it, learning the history and seeing the sites they studied in school. Definitely a highlight for us. We always book these tours early in our trip to get the lay of the land and food recommendations etc. well
Worth it.

Yummy and interesting tour!
Book this on a Sunday if you can, it’s much less crowded in the city and you can really take your time and relax. We tried so many delicious foods and walked through some very fun spots - it’s a lot of fun and you end at a cozy Biergarten with three large dishes and beers! A great way to eat and learn - come hungry!

Perfect Berlin Tour
Our tour was with Aaron who is an archeologist from the UK that has been living in Germany for 20+ years. We had our three sons 20-20-17 with us and Aaron was able to keep them all engaged with his mix of humor/wit. We saw all the main historical sites and he was able to answer any questions we threw at him. Highly recommended for your first day in Berlin when you are trying to get your bearings because you cover most all of the “must see” sites. This is not your average tour but a high level experience with a top notch guide who was informed and kept things fun.

This was a BLAST! My face hurt at the end of the trip because I was laughing and smiling SO much! The roads can be a bit bumpy but that just adds to the adventure. Speedy little cars with super responsive steering. People stopped to watch and wave at us. As my travel buddy said, "Everyone wants to do this but most are too chicken to try it." I'm SO glad we did this because it was super fun and exciting! Do it! You don't want to miss out on this experience!!

Berlin WWII history & impact of the third Reich
We were four people who wanted a 4-hour, individual tour highlighting WWII and Berlin’s points of interest.
Ariel, our tour guide was FANTASTIC! He has an expertise in history and geography and is passionate and eager to share his knowledge. He brought it all together for us in such a rich, fun and fulfilling way, and his enthusiasm and inspired us. We wished we had another day with him.

Absolutely brilliant, Tina was knowledgeable, professional, friendly & answered all our questions with enthusiasm & gusto. I did not know what to expect? I researched tours & fortunately picked this one, so happy I did. My husband, son & I, all agreed, this tour ticked all the boxes. Well done Tina 🎉👏👏

Outstanding private tour of Berlin — highly recommended
We had a complete private tour of Berlin with Jose on a cold and snowy day, and it was absolutely outstanding.
Despite the weather, Jose never rushed us at any point. We visited Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and all the major Berlin landmarks, and at every stop he provided very detailed explanations, including historical context, exact names, locations, and dates. His knowledge of Berlin’s history is deep and precise, and he presents it in a clear, engaging way.
He made sure we were comfortable, answered all questions thoroughly, and adjusted the pace naturally without ever making us feel rushed.
This tour felt serious, respectful, and educational, especially at Sachsenhausen, while still being very human and approachable. If you want a guide who truly knows the history and takes the time to explain it properly, Jose is the right person.
We would 100% recommend Jose and this tour to anyone visiting Berlin.

The Trabi limo tour was...
The Trabi limo tour was exactly what we had hoped for - a tour highlighting the history of the city in a Trabant stretch limo. For those unfamiliar, the Trabant was the car made for the people of East Germany during the period of communist rule there. While the limo adds some comfort, it is not intended to be luxurious, but rather captures the feel of history.
