A tour for armchair historians and novices alike
This is a great tour of the major significant sites related to the WWI battles for the Ypres salient. Soren is an enthusiastic, engaging and knowledgeable guide. We covered a tremendous amount of history in a short amount of time (a day) without feeling rushed. We saw the most we could reasonably see in a day with time to consider each site and its somber significance. A well paced tour with a great guide. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Our guide was the best!
Our tour guide, Martin King, was the BEST tour guide we ever had! He is a military historian and he is so incredibly knowledgeable about World War II and The Battle of the Bulge. I learned so much from his stories and information that he willingly shared.about the things we saw and places we visited. It was a long day and it exceeded my expectations. His list of achievements are incredible. He is passionate and enthusiastic about history.

A great tour
We had a really knowledgeable guide, and learnt so much. The whole tour was great from start to finish. At the Menin Gate there was also a piper band from an Airdree regiment playing, which made the last post ceremony even more moving. A long day but well worth it

Rich in detail, perspective, and opportunity to deepen understanding.
Levi was well prepared with maps and diagrams that provided context and overview. Stops on the way to Bastogne anchored the day in the deeds and experiences of individuals.
The three-campus museum in Bastogne is excellently curated and narrated. Hang close to Levi in the museum for additional commentary and focus. The German cemetery and memorial chapel was such an appropriate last stop. Yes, allied deeds and resolve and sacrifice warrant these memorializations, but then so to does the existential futility of all the unnamed German soldiers in this cemetery. Lives gone with no name ... No witness to tell their story.
The 90 km drive back to Bruxelles at the end of the day was time for reflection and follow up questions and comments with Levi.

You must see!
It was an interesting day . The history of Ghent and Brugge was explain by our guide Julianne. It was very busy the day we were there. It was a large bus tour which I am usually not in favor of, but given the distance cover was efficient. He only suggestion I would have is to provide more practical info toilettes, directions etc you truly want to experience Brugge.

Best of Bruges!
Our cruise arrived to port late--but no worries!! The tour company tracked our arrival, and was in pre-emptive communication with us about pick up and itinerary adjustments. Extremely proactive communication, and we knew exactly what to expect.
We had a group of 12 (yes 12) and our tour guide, Wilm, might be one of my favorite ever. He is clearly passionate about the history of Bruges, and took us to all the points of interest. His commentary was knowledgeable and quite funny. We enjoyed his personality quite a bit. We wished we had had some additional time in Bruges to explore on our own, but since our cruise was late to port, we had to omit that part of the tour. I would highly recommend this tour.
