Omaha + BoB - Amazing!

Our tour was a once in a lifetime experience. For this tour, we had a Thierry as our guide. He greeted us and maintained a friendly attitude the whole day along with a deep pocket of knowledge and expertise allowing us to learn so much throughout the day. After Point-du-Hoc, I had mentioned visiting my uncles memorial at the American Cemetery. Despite my late notice, he sprung into action, calling the visitors center where he arranged for the American Battlefield Monuments Commission to give us a private ceremony with my Great Uncle, who had never had a family member visit his site. This gesture form him was highlight of our whole trip and showed how much he cared for his guests. The rest of the tour was equally amazing. The sites we visited in the countryside were less busy as the main attractions and made it such a unique experience to show some of the events Easy company encountered. I’d recommend this tour and Thierry to anybody that would like a unique Dday tour, especially if you are a fan of band of brothers.

Memorable Day

Excellent tour! Our guide was fabulous. His “job is his passion” and it shows. Extremely knowledgeable, informative and helpful in learning more about our grandpa who served in WWII as a medic, landing in the beaches just after the first wave of soldiers. Very had a very moving day. Highly recommend Boy Eysbroek (Neptune Battle Tours).

Awesome ride

It was loads of fun and we had really good weather for this ride. Our driver, Remi, was very informative and had a good sense of humor. He had a good perspective on historical events. We toured the British sector, Gold beach, which we hadn’t seen yet and it’s always an eye-opener to see these things in person. My only regret is that we took the two hour tour and not the four hour tour. It seemed to end too quickly.

Wonderful day on the rock

Our tour guide, Manon, was great at explaining everything and was very informative and knowledgeable. Be aware that there are many steps to get up to the top of the Abbey, which was fine for us, but might be challenging for others. Fantastic views from the top and a very historical setting. Ate lunch at a restaurant and enjoyed the experience. It was a little crowded on Saturday, but not overwhelming. We had really good weather. Took the shuttle bus back-and-forth, which was crowded, but if you want to do more walking, it’s about a mile or more from the parking lot to the Abbey.

This was a fantastic tour! We spent over three weeks touring London, Spain, Portugal, and Paris, and this was the highlight of our trip! Our guide Noe was exceptional and had such an amazing depth of knowledge, so very impressive. He had a great sense of humor and told all the amazing stories that you don't really hear about. The transportation was very comfortable for a long day of touring Normandy. We stopped and had a great lunch in Sainte Mere-Eglise halfway through to the day. We saw all the major sites and it was just incredible. The cost for a private tour was definitely worth it to have flexibility and the personal attention in a small group. We were a group of 6, Army Veterans and Paratroopers, so it was even more incredible for us and to hear all the amazing stories Noe told us that we did not know already. Don't hesitate to book this tour, with this company. I hope you get Noe as a guide, he was truly amazing! *Bring water or snacks, wear shoes that are comfortable and can walk on the beach. Check the weather, it was windy and chilly on the beach in Aug.

Excellent full day tour with fantastic guide

My wife and I did the full day group tour and we were lucky enough to be the only guests. I was impressed this company didn’t cancel the booking or try to merge us with another group. Our guide was there on time and displayed the same level of effort just for the two of us. Our guides name was Bryce and he was passionate and knowledgeable of the events that took place. He also allowed us to make changes along the way to ensure we got the best experience. The van was nice and clean with great air conditioning. I highly recommend the tour, this company and Bryce as a guide.

The most special day!

Hugo was fabulous! So knowledgeable and patient with our group of a mix of kids and adults. The views of the country were breathtaking and visiting the sites of Omaha beach, German bunkers and the American Cemetery and museum were very special. The bikes were great and easy for first time e-bike users. This tour is a must! A day we will never forget.

really informative and really fun!

Great experience, with Remi, our enthusiastic, totally-knowledgeable, and fun-to-be-with driver and guide! Remi clearly loves his work and this era of history of this area where he grew up. He knew every detail to answer my questions (and I've read a lot of WWII history). One kind of treat was Remi's stopping briefly in a tiny village on the back roads we drove to get from site to site, to learn what life was like before D-day and after. Another was a short-cut drive via a particularly-beautiful small country road in this area where Remi grew up. And of course all the 'basics' were dramatic and fascinating, including Omaha Beach landing complexity, and building the gigantically-ambitious artificial harbor at Gold. The American cemetery was especially beautiful and moving, including being at the daily 4pm ceremony. And my wife totally loved the sidecar experience and driving in the open air!
