Javi saved a life
Our guide, Javi, is a wonderful, trustworthy human being. On our way to Montserrat, one of the passenger started feeling sick. He felt nasusea. Javi stop van and tended to him. We continued down the road and the person continued feeling sick. At this point, Javi asked very kindly if we mind changing plans from van to train. So that he could assist in the emergency on hand. He arranged for another tour guide as he called an ambulance. The individual who was sick was vomiting, blood pressure has dropped considerably and was paper white and one arm was feeling electrical pulses. He was in other words gravely ill. We continued our tour with Alba and had a great time. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about the religious significant of Monteserrat. At the end of the tour Javi waited for us at the train station and brought us back to Barcelona. I highly recommended this tour. These are well trained guide that prioritize health over any other timed factors. They are exceptional human being that love what they do!!! As far as I know, the Cuban American was stabilize and survived with quick action that Javi took.

Excellent adventure!! ...
Excellent adventure!! The experience matched the description and JB was a fantastic guide and attentive to everyone in our group. Our family of 4, including 2 daughters ages 17 and 20, were met with a friendly greeting. We traveled by van from Barcelona to the starting point at a beautiful beach. We kayaked for 2-3 hours while stopping to snorkel, explore caves and rock jump. Then, we enjoyed sandwiches back at the beach where we started. We also had a couple hours to enjoy the beach and grab a drink at the seaside restaurant (they also serve food here). I was a little concerned that an 8 hour excursion would be too long, but it was perfect! Our excursion started at 8am, so the water was calm for kayaking throughout the day without feeling exhausted. I would highly recommend this excursion!

Great time visiting 3 countries.
Our 2nd, and best, trip to Andorra. This tour was excellent. It took in sights we had never visited before such as the French fort. All of this was made better by the knowledge and active participation in our group. “Leno” is an excellent guide and has a background and knowledge of the area that brings this past alive. Was a great tour with an excellent guide.

An Outstanding Small-Group Tour with an Excellent Guide – Thank You, Tony!
We had a fantastic day on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. From the very beginning, Tony provided exceptional service. He picked us up from our hotel promptly at 8:30 am and safely dropped us back around 5:30 pm, making the entire day completely stress-free. Throughout the tour, Tony was enthusiastic, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He shared fascinating stories about Girona’s rich history, its medieval heritage, and how the city has evolved into what it is today. His explanations were informative, engaging, and delivered with a great sense of humor. Our visit to the beautiful medieval town of Pals was another highlight. Tony showed us the best viewpoints and photo spots, making it easy to capture those perfect Instagram-worthy pictures while also explaining the town’s history and unique character. The afternoon at Calella de Palafrugell was the perfect contrast—a charming Mediterranean seaside village with crystal-clear water, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of time to enjoy the beach. Some guests even had the opportunity to go for a swim. Tony also recommended an excellent local restaurant for lunch, along with some delicious regional dishes, which added another memorable experience to the day. With only five people in our group, the tour felt relaxed, personal, and flexible. We never felt rushed and had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and enjoy each destination at a comfortable pace. This was one of the most enjoyable day trips of our one-month European journey. Thank you, Tony, for your outstanding service and for creating so many wonderful memories. We would happily join another tour with you in the future! Highly recommended!

Not seeing something you are looking for?

While Barcelona has a ton to see and do within its city limits, there's plenty to do within day-tripping distance of the Catalan city. The Montserrat range is among the most popular Barcelona day trips, owing to its beautiful rock formations and historic basilica. Another popular option is the Costa Brava, known for its compact fishing villages and sea views. Guided day tours from Barcelona frequently combine Costa Brava time with a visit to nearby Girona, a medieval settlement with a gorgeous cathedral and cobblestoned streets.
