As all of our excursions are personalised, we like to inquire to the individual interests starting from the first contact to get a general idea and start planning a general idea of the upcoming visit. Upon arrival in the region and prior to the visit, we always propose to meet the guest over a nice glass of wine or a cup of coffee (our treat) to truly fine tune their experience to them. The excursion usually starts around 9:30 a.m. and will last about 8 hours. Once more, each visit is unique and can be based upon a theme such as landscapes and Heritage, Legends and Castles, Tastings at and Discoveries of the vineyards and Provençal markets, Art, literature, Crafts, Folklore and the Provençal, Occitan and Roman Cultures. As we are not a company, but a registered not-for-profit cultural association having begun our activities in 2004, our local members who volunteer to accompany visitors are passionate about the history, culture and language of the region.

The first quick stop will be in Nîmes in front of the Maison Carrée, an ancient Roman temple, before taking the guided audio tour of the Arènes de Nîmes. We will then stop at the Pont du Gard, for a picnic of local products from local farms (April to October only), then to walk around the Pont du Gard for superb views of this monument. Finally, we will head to Orange for a stop at the Arc de Triomphe and an audio-guided tour of the majestic Ancient Theatre. NB: starting in November 2026, only Orange and the Pont du Gard will be on the program of this tour.

After the 2nd tasting there will be a picnic included consisting only of fresh produce from local farms. OPTION 2 • all year round (2pm to 6.30pm): same tour, but without picnic. Among the 5 tours I offer, I take you today to Arles and its surroundings. We will first go to a breathtaking viewpoint on Les Baux de Provence, a medieval village built on a rocky promontory. You will then see the fabulous image show of the Quarries of Lights, former place of limestone extraction. You will come out with stars full of eyes! Afterwards, we will stop at Moulin Castelas to visit the mill and taste several olive oils, before picnicking under the fig trees, excellent fresh produce from local farms. We will then stroll through the city of Arles, where you will discover its Roman, medieval and contemporary history. Finally, you will have free time in St Rémy de Provence, to stroll through its alleys, on the terrace of coffee or in its souvenir shops.
