Gordana is an amazing and unique tour guide. Her knowledge and enthusiasm make this both a fun and informative experience. She really makes this tour unforgettable!
We learnt all about Châteauneuf-du-Pape, had some wonderful wine tastings, and also learned so much about the region. Gordana clearly has excellent, warm relationships with the producers we visited which made the visits special, and we were given 5-star treatment. I would absolutely recommend this tour, and indeed any tour led by Gordana.

We were happy we took the Wine Tasting Tour at Chateauneuf du Pape from Avignon. There was only group was quite small, and our guide Eric was most helpful and friendly. It was a great experience visiting vineyards and tasting wines in both Chateauneuf du Pape and the Cotes du Rhone - different wines but equally fabulous.

We had an excellent day and experience with our Chateauneuf du Pape tour guide, Eric. The tour was a hit and we visited an excellent family winery and wine cellar in the heart of CdP. Our guide, Eric, was awesome; extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. This trip is a must do when in Coted du Rhone region.

This was a fun afternoon visiting two wine makers. I loved all the wines presented! So good! Our guide, Erik, was full of details about the countryside and even gave us a historic overview of Avignon.

Everything you need is provided, the guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Fun throughout. You'll be sure to learn something you didn't know about wine.
We visited two wine houses and enjoyed some of the history of the fantastic and famous wine region.
I would definitely book again!

Great tour with Eric. Eric was knowledgeable and funny which made the tour even better. Eric took us first to a small, family run winery where we learned about their history, the process, and region. This was followed by a stop in the local vineyards and a stop at a fantastic wine cave in the town of CDP. Overall, it was a really nice mix of wine tastings and learning about and seeing the broader region.

A sensational guide combining the knowledge of a vigneron with the wit and charm of a born raconteur. We had a great trip to one of the largest chateaus in Chateau Neuf de Pape and a wonderful cave for tastings. The winemakers were exceptional and the wine delicious. Highly recommend

First- Chateauneuf de Pape is not a winery but a region of wine producers in southern France. With this tour you will a lot about what makes French wine different from any other wine in the world. Great way to quickly and deliciously learn about French wine making.

We had an excellent wine tasting tour with Eric who is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and fun guide! The vineyards we visited were excellent and all the guides so knowledgeable.
We would recommend this tour 100%. You will have such fun. Provence with Gordana tour company is the best tour company we used in Provence, genuine, family owned business with small group tours. The best there is.

Fun and great learning experience. A tour of the vineyard and winery followed by tastings. Really knowledgeable and informative winemaker whose enthusiasm and passion shone through.
Next was a tasting that showcased the changing wine styles in Chateauneuf du Pape. Very well explained and interesting.
We then went to a vineyard to see the famous pebbles covering the ground, again really interesting.
The tour was run by two cousins who were knowledgeable, warm and a lot of fun. They went to great lengths to try and make it a goo experience for us. Thanks so much for a great day and we will recommend you to anyone coming to the area.

My son and I really enjoyed the wine tasting tour! Our hosts were fabulous and it felt like friends going out for wine tasting, a group of 6 plus the two tour guides. Highly recommend this tour to see Château du Papes!

Honestly the guide was great and the experience was good! The guy that ran the last winery though just talked a lot and there was a ton of down time until you got to taste any wine. They matched me with a great group though and the guy at the end did have great wine!

Our guide Eric was terrific. He was very knowledgeable and shared interesting history of the area. Viator had to pivot our tour due to a spring wine festival. Eric made it work for us! We truly enjoyed going to a small family owned vineyard for a more intimate experience. We learned a lot about growing grapes! We tasted lovely wines and met cool people. This tour was a wonderful way to see this gorgeous area.

We did a wine tour with Eric as the host. It was a brilliant experience where we got a tour of a winery, got to see the day to day runnings of a vineyard and got to taste a selection of wines for the vineyard. You walk away with a new understanding and passion for wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and recommend it to anybody in the area who is looking for a really fun way to spend their afternoon! Eric was also a brilliant host, was very funny and very knowledgeable and enjoyed the tour that much more as he was hosting it.

This is the 2nd tour we’ve taken with “Provence with Gordana”, a delightful mother/daughter tour company who bring expertise, passion, humor and joyfulness to all their tour itineraries. Gordana was our guide for the day. We visited 2 wineries and throughout our time together, she shared her wealth of knowledge about all aspects of producing & tasting Châteauneuf du Pape wine, including the importance of “terroir”. Our experience felt “magical”, thanks to Gordana’s relationships with the best tasting rooms & sommeliers in the Châteauneuf du Pape region. In addition to the tasting rooms, we also visited a vineyard to see the various conditions in which the grape vines grow. We had an amazing day with Gordana and we highly recommend this tour!

The wine tour with Gordana was a really amazing experience. We visited two very different Domaines, with tastings but also viewing the cellar and vineyards. We could tell the stops were chosen for their passion behind the wines which made the visit more enriching.
The transport van was comfortable, with air conditioning, and waters included.
Gordana is a wealth of information on the history of the area and wines of the region, and just a fun person to be with :) It was like being shown around by a friend. Can’t recommend enough!

First - Gordana is an amazing tour guide. She’s very friendly and lively, and makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable on the tour.
The sites she picked were outstanding and chosen with care and deliberation so we would have a unique and special experience. Everywhere we went, we were the only people there. No large tour groups!
The first stop allowed us to see where many producers ferment and age their wines. Got to taste a variety of different specialties of the region.
The second stop was the real winner of the tour and the reason to do this tour. You will be in a 12th century cave tasting several wines hand-picked by a local Master Sommalier, Guy, who knows wine with a level of detail and passion that would be hard to find elsewhere. His selections and the tasting were just an amazing experience that I will remember for a long time. If you have the means, he can ship a case anywhere in the world. The cost is not cheap, but considering you are shipping bottles home that you cannot buy at home, the value is priceless.
Finally, we made a couple stops in some fields to see where/how the grapes are actually grown. We learned so much about “terroir” and the rules governing local growing in the region. I loved all of these technical details. Wine making is really a dance of science and art. Add in the history of the region, the rule-making bodies keeping a level playing field, and the debate of tradition vs using newer methods and technologies, and there was so much interesting stuff to be learned all in one day.
While I would do this tour in a heartbeat, I would encourage those attending to bring some snacks and a bottle of water. We were hungry and thirsty (for water) at the end.

Gordana’s wine tasting tour was fabulous. We had two amazing private tastings at two amazing wineries. Her knowledge of wines and the wine making process along with her infectious personality made our time together fun and educational. Such a fun experience, I can’t wait to return! She also took great care of our group and made sure we were back to our ship on time. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Our guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic we learnt a lot and had a great experience. She was very professional but a lot of fun and went out of her way to give us the whole Chateauneuf du Pape experience, from seeing the vines growing, to visiting a wine "cave" where we could taste a selection from different wineries. She also gave us some of the history of Avignon.
