Fantastic 1/2 day of wine tasting….Natalie transported us in a comfortable van to 3 wine tastings. Natalie was knowledgeable and thorough…I can’t believe how much we fit into an afternoon, but we never felt rushed.

We travelled to three vineyards in the chateau nef du pap region with our guide Natalie who was the most gracious and knowledgeable guide. I’m each location we were received with gracious hospitality great wine and wisdom. We left better understanding French wines and worth several bottles we will continue to enjoy on our journey.

Our driver/guide, Ann, is very knowledgeable. The wineries we visited were a great assortment of large(ish), medium and boutique winery. The staff/owners at the wineries were welcoming and personable. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Ann for a lovely day.

This 1/2 wine tour started at 2:40 and returned to the meeting spot at 7:15. The guide Ana is friendly and knowledgeable. The ride in the mini van comfortably seated six adults. The first stop was a nice tasting room. I think we got behind at this first stop. The host was good and provided history of his wine. The second stop was probably my favorite. It’s a tasting room in an old cellar of a mostly bombed out castle. They don’t produce wine, they curate their own region’s wines. I felt like the host had to rush a little, which is when I realized that we were probably running late for her stop. The third stop was at a small one man wine maker. It was very interesting to see his operation. The guide stopped several times to provide photo opportunities for us. All in all, it was a good day. I think three wine tastings is feasible, but am not sure we needed five varieties at the first two stops. I am giving four stars instead of five because I did sense the second and third stops were late and rushed, evidenced by the hosts rushing a little. I do recommend this tour and would do it again!

This may have been the least organized and worst tour I have ever been a part of. Tour guide had good English but was very quiet and seemed more like an uber driver than a tour guide. Only went to 2 wineries despite 3 as advertised. 4 people in the car were asleep during the drive, indicating the low energy. First stop winery representative seemed hostile and was not friendly. First stop was basically a wine shop. No views of landscape to enjoy. Second stop was a family home that appeared very messy. Second stop seemed to not even know we were coming at all, no one was available upon arrival. Third stop didn’t happen. Do not go on this tour. There are no positives. I wish I had the time back and could have chosen another tour.

We concede that there were only two wine tastings during our wine tour yesterday due to the cancellation last minute of one of our winery partner in Châteauneuf du Pape.
I rebute all of your other complaints. Kelsy is a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. She certainly did not ONLY drive you around. You never bothered asking any questions the whole tour. There were also 3 photo stops in beautiful vineyards.
Your first wine tasting stop was not a shop but a great winery of Gigondas (Domaine de Longue Toque) that also has an activity of merchant with other great appellations in the Rhone valley.
The family home you referring to is a great boutique winery in Châteauneuf du Pape. 90% of the wineries there are family owned 5 hectares properties. This stop is widely regarded (looked as the many 5 stars reviews for that tour) as our most interesting stop as it reflects the passion of a young winemaker.
I did accept to refund some of this booking because there were, indeed, two wine tastings yesterday instead of the usual 3. Have I known the way that you would still badly review this tour, I would not have bothered.

Truly enjoyed Provence’s wine country and learned so much. Anne is extremely knowledgeable. Definitely recommend the tour, especially for those who want to learn about the region’s history and wine making.

A lovely introduction to the wines from the Chateauneuf du Pape region, and a tour of the beautiful wine country as well. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative and really pulled together the group of disparate travelers. We especially liked the first tour of the Mireille vineyard where the owner explained the complex process of making great wine.

Ann is very knowledgeable about wine and the region. She seemed to have a relationship with the vintners. She gave us several photo ops and gave us the history of each of them.

Although our guide was very knowledgeable, she spoke so quickly that it was difficult to process the information. Also, twice she left my friend in backseat and closed the van without noticing. Finally, although she was a very confident driver she drove very fast and tailgated on a rainy day when the roads could be slick. Also, when someone asked her a question, she said "what is it that she said weren't you listening to what I said?"

The rain that day made the tour a bit more difficult for everyone, me included. Sorry about forgetting your friend in the van but I was distracted by the malfunctioning of the step during that tour. The last comment, was also more like teasing the person. It was not meant as a reproach.
Hopefully, you and your friend enjoyed the wine tastings and the explanations I gave during that tour.

What a wonderful experience! Our guide brought us to three very different wineries in the Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape region. She was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you’re short on time and want to experience this wine region.

Kelsey was fantastic and the other participants were great. It’s a wonderful wine tour to 3 wineries. We did find that the first was underwhelming given we stood in a store. The second was not very informative but the atmosphere was amazing. The third was outstanding - a 5th generation family run winery! Would recommend.

Happy that you enjoyed the tour and the wine. This is a 5 hours tour with three stops at different wine cellars in Gigondas and Châteauneuf du Pape. We also made three photo stops. We cannot possibly spend more time at the cellars than we did.

What a great day. Weather was perfect and the people at the three wineries we visited were very happy to see us and shared their knowledge and wine. The best part of the excursion was Kelsy, our guide. She was engaged, enthusiastic and generous. She also went far beyond expectations in terms of her knowledge of the various sites we experienced. A small group tour like this is ideal. Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. Learnt a lot about the region and wine making. Our visit at Domaine La Boutiniere was so much fun.
