Lisa was an absolutely wonderful guide for our Acropolis and Acropolis Museum tour. She was warm, kind, and incredibly patient, making the experience enjoyable for everyone in our group. She shared fascinating historical facts and stories at just the right pace—never overwhelming us with too much information, but highlighting the details that made the sites truly come alive. She was especially thoughtful with my mom, who walks slowly, making sure we never felt rushed and always keeping the group together. Athens is smaller than it looks

E bikes allow you to travel comfortably over the hills and Jim led an extensive and enjoyable tour. We rode high to the observatory for the best view of the acropolis and he made sure we got all the pictures we wanted. Peter we even got a song out of him (he’s an opera singer as well). Some streets are narrow and full of pedestrians but we got through ok. We added on the acropolis tour, which looked daunting at the start but Katarinab made sure we climbed in stages, finding shady spots and stopping for stories and insights along the way. We were on top before we knew it. Tours are great when the guides clearly enjoy leading and love their cities like this.

Phenomenal experience with Dimitri!

What an amazing experience! If Greece is a bucket list item like it was for us, you have to do this food tour while in Athens. It will not disappoint! Dimitri, our guide, was PHENOMENAL!! We truly couldn’t have had a better time. Dimitri was like a good friend filling us in on his stomping grounds. He met our group at our level and accommodated all of our needs and wants and then some. Wear loose clothes because you will eat so much delicious food and learn so much at the same time. I cannot recommend this tour enough, especially with Dimitri!!!!!

It was a long walk back....

It was a long walk back. We were unaware we had to figure out how to get back from the Agora on our own. Our guide was very knowledgeable and could answer any question. We give her an A+++ rating. The wind and her lanyard would cause static in the microphone sometimes. She was quick to fix it when alerted to the static. The cold water we took was a lifesaver. We each had 32 ounces of ice water and could have used more. We went early and the crowds were manageable. After 4 1/2 hrs of walking and climbing, it would have been nice to have a small bus take us back to the starting point. Make this clear in the description.

Excellent tour, outstanding guide

Had a great evening with Elizabeth who was enthusiastic & very professional throughout the 3 1/2 hours. The group was only 4 people & 2 were not fluent English speakers but she worked hard to ensure that everyone was engaged & happy! The tour had 6 stops & many tastings from olive oil to sweet treats & even included a meze & a main dish in a very traditional local taverna, don’t eat much before taking this tour but definitely take it if you can

Great tour and restaurant during the cooler part of the day. Sevasti, our guide, was very knowledgeable and walked at a manageable pace. She made everyone in our small group comfortable and we were engaged and interactive. The meal was fantastic and ample. Great conversations in a relaxed atmospheres. Come with a big appetite and be prepared to enjoy some fantastic Greek food. We started with traditional coffee and spoon sweet, cheese and meat platter with wine and raki, made our own souvlaki and rounded off with doughnuts. Was absolute stuffed. Our guide Sophia was very knowledgeable and really friendly. Small group of 8 guests made it very personable experience. Perfect way to start our first afternoon/evening in Athens

Perfect way to visit Acropolis

Our tour guide was Magdalini (Magda) and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We went early to avoid the heat. Magda told us stories along the way up and found shade for us which was appreciated because it gets quite hot. She was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions asked. We had some free time on top to take our own pics. The second half was the tour of the museum- I highly recommend someone do the tour with the museum because Magda’s explanation and stories of the artifacts in the museum brought the Acropolis to life. We took the tour that bought our tickets to Acropolis and Museum before hand. I highly recommend so you don’t have to deal with that issue. I highly recommend the tour. Note: our tour lasted 5 hours because of crowd at Acropolis. That was perfect for us because we didn’t have any plans afterwards but just note that crowded days may mean a longer tour.
