Francesco was...
Francesco was knowledgeable, personable and tailored the content and pace to my son and me. I don’t know anyone who has visited this city, and I highly recommend this for something off the beaten path to make your Italian adventure unique.

Highly Recommend
Paolo was a delight! Very knowledgable, and made many suggested sights/activities that really enhanced the day. His restaurant suggestion for lunch in Orvieto was great, and got me the VIP treatment. I would highly recommend this excursion.

Absolutely fantastic tour and guide Mirko
This was a fantastic tour - turned out to be almost a private tour as one couple did not show up and the other couple did a slightly different tour. We toured the Duomo in Orvieto / they toured the crypts (I think). Because we finished before they did out guide - Mirko - took us to a lovely little wine store where we had a fantastic cheese platter and two glasses of wine at Bottega Vera (provided for us). The lost city was spectacular - again we finished before the other couple so we enjoyed another glass of wine (on us). I would highly recommend this excursion and for sure ask for Mirko.

  • There is a small fee for tourists to enter the town.
  • The town is only accessible by a steep, narrow pedestrian bridge; visitors with mobility or breathing issues may have difficulty with the walk up.
  • Due to the steep walkway and cobblestone streets, the bridge and town are not wheelchair accessible.
  • A handful of cafés serve coffee, pastries, and light lunch fare; dinner options are minimal.
