Absolutely beautiful canyon - this is not a hike but an amazing work of nature that requires a small walk with descending steps into the canyon. We had an early morning ticket - easy parking and pleasant temps. Our guide, Hunter, was fantastic! He even gave us IPhone photography tips.

The best tour to Phi Phi Islands with excellent tour guide

We loved the journey from the start to end. Ray, our guide was the best. His team was same as him exceptional. We have done 3 other tours and None come close to this. He is really good at explaining and is all about the people he has in his boat. He is meticulous in everything. I am kind of perfectionist and most of the time I find things I don't like but this time I have nothing bad to say only praises.. The food at Phi Phi Island was the best I ever ate in any tour. He asked if anyone has any allergies and even though I don't have any allergies I mentioned it that I don't like fish. When we sat to eat he came to look for me and brought me a plate with rice with chicken and a soup that were not on the buffet. The buffet had so much choice and excellent food that I didn't need anything more but it was so thoughtful of him to accommodate my needs. The boat number is 989 and if anyone wants the best experience Ray and his team are exceptional. I am not promoting anything but we were very pleased and you won't be disappointed... Thank you Ray and crew for making that day even more memorable.

Good tour with different sights

Malcolm was an excellent guide. Secret canyon was nice because it wasn’t very crowded and you were able to get really good pictures. Malcolm also took really great shots. Horseshoe bend is amazing, def Worth a stop. It was nice to do the 3pm tour because the stops weren’t that crowded

The experience was...

The experience was amazing, punctual, they explained the rules well and what to expect. Jonathan was our operator and he was charismatic, and knowledgeable. The landing was a little rocky, but it was to be expected as a possibility. Breakfast was good fruit, breakfast burrito and champagne, oj and if you wanted to cut loose make yourself a mimosa. Overall 10/10 experience definitely will book again.

Stunning and magical

Whilst this does seem expensive, it is a do not miss experience. There were a lot of people at the meeting point but we were dealt with efficiently and distributed to various vehicles. The vehicles all looked in good condition and enclosed - we noticed some other tours had open air vehicles which would have meant a face full of sand on the journey through the dry valley of sand to the canyon. Our guide was respectful of everyone, including those slightly less able, and never rushed us, although there is always another group in front of you and one behind (so the push comes from behind). Clearly they have a good system re the pace of progression through the canyon. It is not very long, so there is no need for a fast pace, and there was plenty of time to admire and take photos. Indeed our guide knew how to take the best photos and took many on our behalf. He also had a lot of knowledge. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. We booked for the 11.45am tour in order to get the best light, and indeed our guide confirmed independently that around the middle of the day when the sun it at it's highest is the best time re light within the canyon (being a slot canyon this makes sense). He said if you want the absolute best light you need to visit in the height of summer when it is very hot outside, but cooler in the canyon (you'll be glad of those air conditioned vehicles then!). You are only allowed to take a phone / camera. No bag, however, small.

We had the trip of a lifetime. The ride was so smooth and didn't feel dangerous at all. What a view of the Grand Canyon looking down on the canyon was so fun. Our pilot was excellent felt so safe and very professional. Don't like doing reviews but felt it deserved a great review. Helicopter was in mint condition. Forrest was fun and very knowledgeable. For an old couple you can't get a better view.
