What are people saying about Arizona

Mac was very engaging. ...
Mac was very engaging. He dealt very well with some high maintenance customers (disputed that they had signed up for this specific outing, from UT didn't realize the time difference yet tho arriving a full hour early made everyone stand around waiting while they decided they should apply sunscreen once they were partially entered into their kayak, had not read that they needed to provide their own snacks so relied on his supply, would be discourteous to others trying to take pics. He was always pleasant, checking in with all guests in our timeslot, ensuring everyone was well attended. He looked to give a lot of factual insights and from his experiences living in the area. Great guide.

Once in a Lifetime Experience
This amazing day of kayaking starts at Hoover Dam and continues 12 miles to Willow Beach. Along the way, you make multiple stops to enjoy hot springs, coves, and the beauty of the Colorado River and canyon walls. The clear green water is indescribable. Ask for Gino!

Awesome experience - but physically demanding
This tour was exceptionally beautiful. We had such a great experience with our tour guide, Rich. He was very helpful with our kayaks, super friendly, and made sure everyone got the experience they wanted.
We had two tandem kayaks with two adults and two kids (ages 9 and 11). This is a physically demanding experience - 2.5 mile kayak each way to the canyon and 40
Min to 1.5 hr hike on very hot sand into the canyon. Or you can choose to stay where we docked the kayaks and swim if you don’t want to hike. The walk up and down the dock to the kayaks is also pretty steep after a long kayak trip. It’s 100% worth the effort if your crew likes physical challenge.

Great times!
It was a great experience, it was my wife and step sons first time on a kayak, we got a little tutorial how to paddle, get in and off the kayak and how to avoid injuries in terms of rowing, the “cave” we actually passed by due to us thinking “that can’t be it” as we passed it due to it being so small, we went an additional mile still beautiful if you go further you will go come across an entire empty place where echos sound pretty awesome, I will say the only down side is that there were tons of mosquitos, bring repellant, and have proper form or your elbows will hurt, over all beautiful we saw 3 big horn sheep, you can’t swim by the shore where you take off with your kayak, so make sure to stop further up stream at some spots to jump into the water, definitely go again.

The Absolute Best Way to See Antelope Canyon!
Starting from the Antelope Point Launch Ramp, we paddled across Lake Powell. The water was like glass in the morning, peaceful, scenic, and honestly, a great arm workout! Be prepared for a little bit of "choppy" water on the way back if the wind picks up or boat wakes from the main channel roll in. Once we reached the back of the canyon, we docked the kayaks and hiked through the slot canyon. Because you can only access this section by water, it felt so much more private and serene than the standard walking tours. The geological formations are breathtaking, and our guide was great about pointing out unique features and helping us take photos. I would highly recommend taking this tour!

Josh was the best!
Beautiful, peaceful, serene. Crystal clear water with a glassy surface amidst towering sheer cliffs. The cave itself is really cool, but somewhat small. However, the entire journey is beautiful. A fantastic way to get in nature, get away from the city, and move your body.
Our guide, Josh, was exceedingly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He was very attentive to the group and helped anyone who needed it.
The equipment was very nice.

Highly recommend! Would do it again! Also, get the food, is delicious!
Went on the guided tour with Emmett (spelling?) as our guide. Our guide was very knowledgeable and confident and gave us a sense of ease. The sights were gorgeous and the water was nice. Would highly recommend getting food after the kayaking trip because the food is great, and competitively and fairly priced. I think you should go with more people on a guided tour because honestly, the more the merrier but it wasn’t bad with the little group we had. Would definitely do it again!

Wonderful Time Well Spent in Nature
Wonderful and worth every dollar! Blazing Paddles tour guide Eugene was so enjoyable, full of info and little stories. We did the /2 day Emerald Cave Tour. We were all experienced with kayaking so no lessons were needed, but he did give little tips and offered to help with everything. I did think the caverns would be larger, or able to kayak through them. But there were lots of beautiful views with a little hike for a snack and stretch break and photo ops. Highly recommend this adventure.

Great tour, be careful...
Great tour, be careful with the timing and arrival.
We arrived an hour early due to time zone differences but we were not able to reach out or check our booking details because Willow Beach lies in an area with no mobile network coverage.
We started a little late due to this and were able to just catch the Emerald Cave lighting up in time (it was also shining low due to November) but our guide Paul made it work.
Additionally, Paul was an awesome guide who provided us a lot of additional insight about the place and area, history etc.
Even in November, the 85 °F were inviting us to take a swim during and after the tour which made us soak up the after-vibes of the tour experience to a maximum and made an overall awesome day.
The insights Paul provided, made us want to come back for more exploration on our own or even attending the longer tour to the Hoover Dam.

Fun kayaking experience with more of a time crunch end goal. Still tons of fun
This was a very fun activity to get away from the concrete jungle while enjoying the heat! We went down for the 4 mile excursion.
The good: our guide, Jessica. Was very personable and had a wonderful, outgoing personality. She included everyone in the group in having fun. She stopped and helped us take pictures of each other and even took pictures of us on her phone that she sent to everyone the next day! Jessica gave us historical facts about the area.
The bad: it felt very rushed. Was not a leisurely kayaking experience. It was a get over here in 3 minutes, across the river in 6...I had never been kayaking before and found this much more trying that I thought it'd be. We weren't able to look around at the sights because of the go, go of the tour. On the way back, my boyfriend and I fell back behind the group and enjoyed paddling at our speed looking at the goats, eagles, and all the other sights we didn't get to see on our way to the cove. The cove is very small and only allows approx 10 people in at a time. There was a 30-40 min wait time for our turn to take pictures in the <5 minutes.
Overall, I'd definitely do it again. Must do a tandem instead of a single. See if there's a different style group or rental that isnt so time goal oriented that would allow for more of a casual (vs feeling like a race...this was expressed by a few couples in the group) kayaking experience with a goal, ie the cave.

Venture Out Vegas team rocks!
We spent a most amazing day kayaking the Colorado and visiting the Emerald Cave with VENTURE OUT VEGAS. Blair, our guide, was funny, shared much of the history of the area with us, and quickly became a part of our family. He made sure our experience was safe, fun, and left us with many great memories. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Great experience!
Due to an inaccessible road, we were not able to take the trip we’d planned. However the company offered us an upgraded tour at no extra cost. Guides Ray and Soren did a fantastic job leading our kayaking tour. The wild donkeys were the added bonus! Thanks for a great trip!
