What are people saying about Amsterdam

Tip based tour, worth much more than any paid tours!
Samuel was one of the best tourguide I've ever had. He was funny, entertaining and was litteraly a walking encyclopedia. This was a really good introductory tour to the great city of Amsterdam. A lot of topics were covered such as History, Architecture, Dutch tolerance, WW2, Holocauste, funny stories about the background of drugs and prostitution in Amsterdam, etc.
I would highly reccomend this tour!
I love those tip based tours and you bet I tipped accordingly!
At the end of the tour, Samuel gave us a QR code leading to a map in Google maps listing all of the best local spots. Restaurants, Coffeeshops, cafés, etc. Everything you need is right there and I can testify this map helped me a lot during my stay.

Red light district tour well worth the time
We explored Amsterdam’s busy red light district and learned the history of and current laws p protecting sex workers in Amsterdam. Our guide was very knowledgeable of Amsterdam’s history and culture, very informative and fun too. This was an incredibly interesting and eye opening tour for sure. We made great friends with another couple on the tour and shared pizza with them afterwards.

Excellent tour!
A very interesting and relevant tour. Our guide, Caroline, was kind and extremely knowledgeable. She explained the various aspects related to the Second World War, the Frank’s family and the city of Amsterdam very well. The walking time was perfect. An activity well worth doing!

Very Interesting!
Great tour! We went on our first night in Amsterdam and I'm glad we did because Aarre gave us great insight into the customs and culture of the area. He was a funny and knowledgeable guide, he kept the tour feeling like friends hanging out and learning a bit of history. Was the museum worth the extra money?.... I'm not sure. It was still fun though!

Take this tour, it's a must!
Aarre did a wonderful job. He tailored the tour to us. He showed us around the old Amsterdam canal area (including the red-light district) and showed us little historical details we never would have thought to notice. Aarre made Amsterdam truly come to life! Thank you for a fabulous morning.

Terrific Canal Tour by a Local
Marty was a wonderful & engaging tour guide. He combined history, culture & humor to make the short experience quite memorable. He's also a good bartender!
The captain was friendly, but very quiet as he (properly) needed to focus on steering the boat
This was among the best tours of our 10 day vacation; if you have the chance to book a canal tour I highly recommend this one.

An Eye Opening Tour
This was not on our initial itinerary and was a last minute booking on our part, and I am so happy we booked it. It gave us such a deeper understanding of this area, dispelled myths, etc. Eden was our guide and had so much knowledge about this district, from its beginnings to current state of affairs. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Very fun & delicious Amsterdam food tour
Our family of 2 adults and 1 teen had a super fun time with Stephanie our guide, and one other couple. It was great to be a small group. We walked to six different stops in a vibrant and colorful Amsterdam neighborhood. The snacks/food that we sampled were all local and different than what we eat at home (except for the cheese, but it was better cheese than US cheese ;)). We also had beer/wine/drink of choice at almost all the places, also included. Stephanie our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, taught us some cool Amsterdam/Dutch info, and easygoing. We had a great time!

Learning New Things
Even though I've been to Amsterdam before, I still learned so much from this walking tour. The guide was a very informative American who has lived in the Netherlands for decades. The entire group was actually American coincidentally. The group was 7 guests + 1 guide. I don't think a tour should be any larger since the streets can be crowded making it hard to stay together. I'd highly recommend a walking tour of most cities if you are new to a location, and this one was among the very best!

King Day Cruise
This was an excellent cruise with our Norwegian pilot, unfortunately with all the loud music on the streets, I couldn't hear his name. Kings Day is a crazy celebration but we had a unique front row seat to the celebration. The cruise takes you thru many of the narrow canals of Amsterdam and past old churches, beautiful homes and interesting architecture. I highly recommend this tour!

Good tour to take
So we took this tour yesterday with tour guard named Jacob, and highly recommend this company and tour to anyone who wants to learn about Amsterdam itself and the country in general.
Everything was well organized and efficient.
A few things to mention
1. Small group size. It was like 10 of us. Everyone was on the same pace and interests.
2. Picturesque views of Amsterdam. Pretty easy walking but good walking shoes are a must.
3. Lots of history and details were given.
4. The tour guard was helpful and attentive and very knowledgeable and professional
