Amalfi Coast

This was a driver tour of the Amalfi Coast from Sorrento and back. Alex our driver expertly drove us through the winding narrow roads of the beautiful Amalfi Coast. He dropped us off for a couple of hours at each of three cities, first Positano, then Ravello, and finally Amalfi. All three cities are of course lovely, but Alex wisely juggled the usual expected order so that we could enjoy a leisurely meal and spend more of our limited time in the calmer and less commercial atmosphere of Ravello rather than in the more touristy and smaller Amalfi. Our driver was informative and eagerly engaged in conversation. He pointed out sites along the way that we would never have appreciated. All in all, a lovely, lively and educational one-day experience on the Amalfi Coast. Highly recommended!

The most farm family fun feast imaginable!!

Our family ADORED our visit and farm to table feast with Raphael! We were warmly greeted upon arrival and delighted in the opportunity to feed the goats, cow and pigs! Our hosts were so kind and generous and Raphael kept us in stitches throughout his tour. We visited the lemon orchards and olive groves and learned about the hard work and devotion the family extends to their family’s FIFTH generation farm! The tour was interactive, and our family of eight embraced our fellow guests, who were all effusive with delight and belly laughter! We were invited to taste the olive oils produced on site and then we were invited into the lovely dining room, where we treated to a truly delicious and magically memorable four course feast! The whole family treated us so wonderfully and after our meal and sweet cake dessert, Raphael taught us how to make limoncello! It was divine! And the laughs kept coming! Such a beautiful, wholesome evening and a moonrise as we said arrividerchi!!!!

Incredible day on the water!

The boat ride to Capri was amazing! The captain, Massimo and first mate, Agata were very informative and super friendly. My family and I enjoyed every second of the trip there and back. Beautiful views, clear water and prosecco + fruit to finish it off. Highly recommend, especially with that captain+first mate duo!

Beautiful even if you can't get in to Blue Grotto

The first part of tour is a bit crazy as every group races on and off the ferry to be first for the blue grotto boats. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and we were not able to go to the blue grotto (which happens much more frequently then they let on) however our guide still made our tour wonderful. She got us in position to be one of the first on the chairlift for fantastic views of the island before the crowds formed. She continued to give us tips and highlights that made the whole day wonderful. The captain of the boat for around the island tour was also very skilled and made the trip very fun. Overall Capri is beautiful and well worth a trip to visit.

Perfecto!

I will use my new favorite word to describe our guide, Marcella: Perfecto! She was delightful, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Every suggestion for free time was, yes, perfecto! She was very accommodating of the group's needs and interests. The tour was well-paced and organized and the Blue Grotto visit was the highlight of the excursion!

A day on the bay of Napoli

It’s a full day with a lot of boat time which was fabulous. The water temperature is cooler in late October and I would recommend a sweater or jacket as it gets quite windy on the boat ride. Our guide Raphael was wonderful and fun and we saw so many different things from the water. Stopping at Amalfi and positano was great!

This tour was great and...

This tour was great and our tour guide, Michele, was very knowledgeable. He answered everyone’s questions and knew a lot about both sites. I’d have loved more time at both but I think the time is just right for most, and it was definitely a lot of walking. The bus was very comfortable, and our driver, Andrea, was a very safe driver. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a solid trip to both sites.

Vinny gave us an...

Vinny gave us an incredible overview of the sights visited. The tour group was bigger than we expected but we were able to hear him and get into the places visited. His knowledge gave us insights and background that enriched the experience. Unfortunately we had group show up with a person in a wheelchair - even thought the tour description says not wheelchair accessibly. While Vinny was incredibly accommodating I can’t help but feel that our experience was altered by that groups not honoring limitations. I’m all for accessibility but Pompeii tour is not one of those places. Even without such physical challenges the tour is demanding for older tourist. Perhaps a private tour would have been a better fit for us and worth the extra cost.

Weather alert said thunderstorm and I wasn't sure whether to still go but it turned out so much better because of the lack of people. I have brilliant pics with no people whatsoever in them! All 3 tour guides were good. I'd prefer a little more time to take pics as a bit of a rush to keep up. I'd recommend going.

Honeymoon Activity

Great experience and such a beautiful day! Angela and Salvatore were great hosts. My favorite part was all the small pieces of history and culture we learned about while on the boat along the coast. We got to swim, drink on board & met some awesome people. We are young newlyweds and this was an amazing experience for us.
