Erroneously booked day and despite numerous calls and emails no response- other than one from Viator itself saying in effect too bad/no refund. Plenty of providers offer refunds in the case of simple errors like this- go with them!

Hello Charles, so sad to read about you bad review. If i'm understanding correctly, situation is : 1 - you book a tour with departure on May 9th 8:30 2 - May 9th 6:30 a boat with a skipper do 2 hours ride to reach the boarding point at 8:20 3 - starting 8:00 we sent 19 messages and call 25 times (company + skipper)... no answer from you 4 - skipper wait 4 hours a sign of life from you, but... nothing 5 - 13:00 you reply to our messages, telling us that you did a mistake with the booking. You booked May 9th instead of June 14th 6 - the skipper and the boat come back with other 2 hours ride. Voucher for embark in Positano wasted, voucher for temporary drop off in Capri wasted, all the food of that day wasted 7 - you said, oh sorry, i did i mistake, please refund 8 - you wrote such a bad review because, in your opinion, we should pay the boat, the skipper, the fuel, the food, and all other costs and taxes because you booked a wrong date That's quite crazy, i really have no words to justify your behaviour. Instead of apologize, because wrong booking date, because no read all the emails of confirmation you received from Viator and from us, because no answer from the prior 24 hours to our advising and checking messages, you gave us an unfair and false review. So sad, really really sad 😔
