Top Amalfi Coast Day Trips

My family and I really enjoyed this tour! Our driver was a little late picking us up that morning because traffic can be pretty heavy, but we still arrived at the dock on time, so it wasn’t an issue. There were 12 people on our boat (including two young children), and everyone fit comfortably without feeling crowded. Our guide, Francesca, was such a sweetheart! Our group was a mix of travelers from the U.S. and France, so she effortlessly switched between English and French throughout the day. The French passengers also seemed to know some basic English, so everyone was able to communicate and enjoy the experience together. Our first stop was Amalfi, where we had about 1 hour and 40 minutes to explore. Honestly, it was plenty of time to walk around, shop a bit, and take in the beautiful scenery. Our second stop was Positano, where we had about two hours of free time. Aside from the steep hills (be prepared for those!), it was another lovely place to visit, and two hours felt just right. We also had a swim stop, which was one of the highlights of the day. Once everyone was back on board, the crew served Prosecco and snacks, and we ended the tour with a fun sing-along that had everyone smiling. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and absolutely worth the money. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the Amalfi Coast from the water while enjoying time to explore both Amalfi and Positano.

Lulu was very engaging, knowledgeable and witty. She provided amble time for us to explore at each site and provided great tidbits of knowledge. Another couple not part of our tour, asked me who she was and with what company - they were impressed with what they heard her telling us. My travel companion lost her cell phone at Pompei and Lulu worked with another tour guide going back to site to locate it and return to us the next day...great service and all with a smile. Would definately recommend this to anyone who is wanting to know more about Pompei.

We had the most amazing and dreamy time today onboard with our wonderful captain whose name escapes me and Francesca. They were wonderful and made the experience even better than expected. I would do it all over again in a heart beat. I just wish they had given time to collect tips as I had completely forgotten and feel terrible they didn’t ask us at the end.

The early starts 7:30 was worth it as we were one of the first coaches to arrive at Pompei. Great information from the tour leader and Pompei guide. Good rest before we moved onto Vesuvius. At Vesuvius we were given good advice from the tour guide re the walk up and down and plenty of time. Its a tough walk up for older people and the walk down takes its toll on your knees, but we had time to rest. Really enjoyed the tour.

Fabio our driver was friendly and gave us lots of information about the area we visited. We spent around 11/2 hours in each town. Fabio picked us up in a well air conditioned luxury minivan that was very comfortable and plenty of room. We were accompanied by 6 other people so 8 of us in all plus Fabio who drove. It was a lovely stress free way of seeing the Amalfi coast and had plenty of time to explore each town. I would highly recommend this trip.

Wonderful day on the water visiting grottos and swimming. Alex and the Captain of the boat Teti are phenominal. Alex made sure we had pkenty to drink and eat. Captain gave us a great ride. You have to walk along a narrow street and take an elevator to get down to the loading area for the boats. Several people 11 total thought the pick up spot was around the corner from where we should have been. Make sure google maps takes you to the large parking garage for the meeting point. Would have liked more time on the boat and less time in Capri. Fours hours was too long for us on Capri. Expensive 90 euros for 5 drinks snd sn order of fries . We were lucky enough to sail two days in a row on the Teti. Highly recommend Alex and Caotain!

We had a wonderful Amalfi Coast tour with Tony! This was actually a last minute booking for us because we had already done a boat tour of the Amalfi Coast, but seeing it from the road turned out to be such a completely different experience. We are so glad we decided to take the driving tour as well! Tony was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, shared so much interesting information throughout the day, and made the experience truly enjoyable. He was also a very safe driver, which made navigating the winding coastal roads feel completely comfortable and stress free. What we appreciated most was how he customized the tour for us since we had already visited Amalfi by boat. He adjusted the itinerary so we could experience new places and really make the most of our day. Highly recommend Tony for anyone looking for a personalized and memorable Amalfi Coast experience!

The best boat trip of the coast. The captain and his assistant were extremely nice and helpful. Made several stops along the way to explain significant sites and their history. Also stopped to swim. Only downside is the storefront at the marina was hard to find. It is a small opening shared by an atm on the corner of a building. Boat holds 12 people. We'll worth the money.
