Visiting one of the greatest musicians in history house is something definitely worth it, the place is big consist of 3 floors.

Very historical

Damian_B, Dec 2025
It's worthwhile if you are a mozart fan. Mozart's house is near St. Stephen's church and getting to it is breathtaking. There is also the house Mozart died nearby that is worthwhile as well.

Worth visit

Worth visiting

Very satisfying to stand and wander in the same vicinity as Mozart as he lived here. Some interesting facts discovered on.audio guide. Good value for money. A bit more reproduction of rooms and furniture would be good.

Mozart’s fascinating space

Louise_B, Sep 2024
Loved everything, the informative background of the life and times of Mozart, through to seeing original manuscripts and clips of Met and other performances. Imaginative and fascinating. I feel I know so much more about Mozart the person and his lifestyle to add to the enjoyment of his everlasting music

Fantastic

We had a great time and would recommend it! The place was beautiful! The opera singer was an added touch.

A must see for music lovers.

Sean_O, Dec 2023
Audio guide was good, you do not need to bring your own headphones which was a plus. Don’t expect a restored house that looks the way it did when Mozart was there, but they are honest about the details that lead them to display it the way they did. We spent 2 hours here lingering through the different rooms listening to the guide.

Very talented musicians...

Gemma_C, Aug 2023
Very talented musicians and a great cultural experience if you are ever in Vienna and great to witness their talent and the music of Mozart

Not worth the time or cost.

Linda_S, Jul 2023
Sadly the museum is only copies of documents and very few pieces of furniture of that era but not Mozarts actual items. At the entrance, the Viator tickets were not recognized at first so it took several minutes later until we were finally granted access.

Great little museum if you love Mozart and musical history!

Colleen_G, Jul 2023
Seeing part of the original manuscript to Mozart's Requiem. Guided audio tour was really helpful. Small but packed with good info.

Mozart’s apartment - up close and personal

MizekR, Jun 2023
See the residence that helped inspire some of Mozart’s greatest works! A must see in Vienna if you love classical music.

Amazing

ANDREOPOULOU_I, Feb 2023
What a day, I admired Mozart so much, and I love his music, I think he is one of the greatest everyone has to go !

Mozart House of Inspiration

Lisa_S, Oct 2022
Photos are not allowed inside (inwards) the Mozart House, hence I pointed my lens outwards the window where Mozart and his guest would gather and lookout upon the Avenue of his residence….to see what they would have seen from their vantage point…, It was moving to be in the room where Mozart composed his works and wander the streets he traveled and see the pictures of the MANY women that inspired/influenced him…. We love him even more now….

One of the most poorly organized...

One of the most poorly organized museums I have ever visited.

The house has so much history, and...

Cliff M, Oct 2016
The house has so much history, and it is very difficult to describe it. The tour provides an vast background on Mozarthaus' life. The tour is designed to go on your own pace, and we were able to take our time during the tour and appreciate more of it. Thanks

It shows the expectation of Mozart's life. Good to meet you ☺️

u2marisaeg, Jul 2025
It connects with the life of the composer, well organized and tour time is one hour, according to the times available, if this is not enough.
