Our day in Rome with Alberto was a true highlight of our week in Italy. Alberto greeted us at the cruise port in Rome and created a unique itinerary for us based on our input and his remarkable knowledge of the city. He was remarkably kind, energetic, entertaining and skilled at navigating the streets of Rome. He took us to many hidden gems of Rome that we would never have seen on our own. He coordinated our private tour of the Vatican museums with Marieda perfectly. Our private tour with Marieda could not have been better. She guided us through the Vatican complex, skipping the long lines, and taking us to many highlights. Her knowledge of the Vatican was remarkable. She delivered us back to Alberto on time for a safe return to the cruise port in the late afternoon. This was an unforgettable experience. Bravo Alberto and Marieda!

We had an incredible experience in Rome!! Our tour guide Alberto was so amazing! He took us everywhere, was so knowledgeable about all the sights, made it fun and was so nice. We asked him to take us to eat gelato and he went to several until we found an authentic place as we had asked. Our private tour of Rome is our favorite tour so far. Alberto was not only a professional and knowledgeable tour guide, he had personality and added some extras that made the trip even more memorable. He made the day an exceptionally pleasant experience, even with the crowds. We have told family and friends considering a Rome visit to definitely use the private tour and if possible to request Alberto. He kept us on schedule and got us safely back to our ship on time. He stopped at a cafe for pastries and coffee for our morning break and booked reservation in a restaurant for a quick lunch. Those two stops were not expected but highly enjoyed by the three of us. It gave us a personal experience of Rome that we would not have had otherwise. We had Alesandro as our Vatican private guide. She was waiting when Alberto arrived. She took us through the area for our walking tour. The vast amount of knowledge she had of the places and history was remarkable. She knew the stories that went with the paintings on the walls, she explained the rooms and chapels we visited, gave us a few minutes to shop in the gift shop and got us through on schedule. Alberto and Alesandra were an excellent tour team and left us with wonderful once in a lifetime memories. I highly recommend them both as well as Viator for professional tours and will use Viator every time we are visiting a new place n the future.
