I really loved that we were only a small group. From the mini bus driver to the Sami Mum and Son who welcomed us, it was a wonderful experience.
The reindeers were adorable and cheeky and devoured the bread we could give them.
Listening to the Sami culture while having a hot bouillon with home made bread was lovely. I also really enjoyed learning more about the reindeers. I would highly recommend this.

Feeding the reindeer was a wonderful experience. They were very excited but very gentle. It is out in the open so if the wind is blowing make sure to wrap up with lots of warm layers

Felt like Christmas! As soon as we got there, the host (Sami) allowed us a good amount of time to feed the reindeer - which truly set the experience off with an amazing start! We then had snacks and hot drinks in their Lavoo whilst being enthralled by hearing stories and songs of the Sami culture! Truly unforgettable

Eva and her husband were amazing hosts! If they weren't bound by time constraints, they would have kept our group occupied for hours longer. We really appreciated the small, intimate setting. With no more than a dozen guests, everyone got the chance to speak to wife and husband privately. Huge learning experience. 11/10. 🙌🤓📚

A lovely experience getting to feed and stroke the Reindeer!
The Sami family were really friendly and made the experience fun and magical with stories of their lifestyle and culture and warming us with hot soup and home made bread.

The experience was wonderful. Sami and his family were great. It did not feel touristy at all, highly recommend as they’ve got very cute reindeers! Told us many stories about their culture, background as well as how they herd their reindeers. Would come back again if I was back in Tromso! Will never forget! Do this experience now, you won’t regret it!

The reindeers were one of my favourite experiences in Tromso, it was such a special morning. We got lots of time to feed them and take photos, nothing felt rushed. Learning about the Sami culture was also fascinating. Would come back again in a heartbeat!

Off all the tours we did in Tromso, we loved this one the most! Beautiful surroundings, adorable reindeer, and interesting stories from the Sami people. Transportation to and from the farm was also well-organized. This is a must do when in Tromso.

Dress warm! The reindeers are adorable. We fed them bread and apparently they love bread! It’s a dessert to them! We learned so much about the Sami people. Michel and the other guide were such gracious hosts. The Sami hut was nice and warm and we got to shop at a genuine Sami gift shop on the grounds after. Half the reindeer are very shy and the other half are very friendly!

The reindeer experience was one of the best things I have ever experienced. The animals are so lovely and really enjoyed the food we fed them they were a real joy. The Sami people who ran the camp were incredible people. They really care for the reindeer and were a model of how we all should live and care for our environment. Definitely a bucket list trip. Really made me think about how we live in comparison

This was a lot of fun! The trip was about 30-35 minutes each way from Tromso. The bus did leave on time. There is an "outhouse" type bathroom facility on the property.
Dress WARM. You are outside for a good portion of the stay. Feeding the reindeer was so much fun. Selfishly, I wish there were a few that were more "pets" that way they would want to hang out with you when you didn't have food. When you're out of food to give them they have no interest in you.
They did serve a warm drink and snack and shared a bit about their culture. There were about 15ish on this trip, maybe not even that many. It was the right amount, so that you could still enjoy yourself!

Amazing day with the reindeer and learning about the Sami culture. The tour was plentiful and did not feel rushed. They gave us plenty of food and time for photos with the reindeer. The refreshments were plentiful. Our guides were friendly and full of knowledge. Transportation was prompt and comfortable.

This was the most incredible experience from start to finish. Very small group and once we arrived we went straight into feeding hundreds of beautiful reindeers. The Sami were so friendly and it was great to hear about their life and more about their reindeers. Absolutely incredible

We booked for raindeer package on rhe 25th February after recommendation by my friends Aiza Azrina Johari x 2 pax .
However their package is for 3 hours without raindeer sledding and our package are for 4 hours including 20 minutes raindeer sledding.
On the 25th Feb we were shocked to find out that we were actually going to the same farm with the same transportation. There were no raindeer sledding available at the visited farm.
When I asked the driver cum guide , he was clueless .
You can imagine our dissapointment. Hence we hope to be compensated with the price difference in the packages.

Brilliant experience! An actual Sami guide, who told us lots about Sami history and life and answered all of our questions. We got to feed the reindeer and had plenty of time for photos. We then got tea/coffee in the hut with an open fire. The whole experience felt authentic and not rushed, it didn’t feel like a gimic like some tours can.

So informative and enjoyable. A truly unique experience. The bus ride to the reindeer farm was warm and comfortable. The reindeer feeding set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of snow covered mountains was fantastic followed by delicious tea, coffee and snacks inside a wonderfully warm traditional timber dwelling and informative insight into Sami culture. Unforgettable family experience.
