We thoroughly enjoyed chasing the Nothern Lights on a cold Monday evening. Our tour guide, Boris was efficient, professional and helpful. The driver took us to Oteren where we had the opportunity to see the lights with the naked eye. Boris helped us set up our camera so we could take photos and enjoy the evening. He made sure we were warm, safe and had access to food and drink. I would highly recommend this excursion and wouldn’t hesitate to participate again.

Cozy fire and nice snacks/reindeer stew; haven't figured out how to see the pictures yet, but it was a really nice night. There was a 1:30 a.m. curfew, which showed that the company had the staff's rights in mind (and/or that they didn't want to pay overtime?), but we went all the way to the Finnish border and waited for a long time for the lights. Saw a bit of green and a baby moose on the road!

Martin was a great guide. We found the perfect spot and saw the lights for about 2 hours.
They could take more photos as the opportunity was definitely there, the choice of only 1 photo was limited compared to other trips.

The experience was amazing. Aiden was a great guide. He took plenty of great pictures and we were able to see the lights in two different spots. This was one of my best experiences, the lights danced for almost two hours.

We had booked this tour several months in advance. We our whole week in Tromso planned. We showed up over 20 minutes early to found out our specific bus had been overbooked and had left 15 minutes before we had arrived! There were no spots so we were not able to go. They offered to put us on a tour a few days later but that meant entirely changing our plans for that day. The company blamed Viator but I suspect the overbook regularly and expect to get away with. Very disappointed with our experience.

We booked a trip for two people to see the Northern Lights. Unfortunately, we found that there was no Norwegian campfire with reindeer furs and firpit and Video of Northern Lights in historical cafe (hot drinks included) during the trip. We feel a bit disappointed about service.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Since the weather brings its correction to the night sometimes we change our plan aiming to go out earlier to find the clear sky spot. If we are not in the right place at the right time the aurora could slip away from us. We do the campfire according to the weather conditions and length of the drive! We are among more to find the lights than lose some minutes of precious time! Regarding the hot drinks in the historical building, we guess you meant the building, not the cafe, they are free to take every evening before the tour in our shop located in the historical building of Tromso. Booked the trip last minute as there were not many options. Tour included 15 people on bus but 5 busses left simultaneously and we parked and camped with 2 other busses so it had big bus feel. Also lot of small touches missing like only deerskin to sit on snow vice folding chairs like others. The guide only had 5 deerskins that were enough for 10 people to sit down. Left 5 of us standing. Seeing the northern lights would have made it memorable still, but understand that weather needs to cooperate. Went on a tour earlier in the week so this is based on that small group experience.

It is made for a special reason, so the tourists do not bring a lot of impact to nature and make sure that only footprints are left behind. We choose the parking according to the sky clearness that's why there might be just a few spots left for several buses. Great experience! According to the weather forecast it should have been cloudy around Tromso, but our experienced and helpful quide Jacob found a place where we saw Aurora. During the journey we were given a lot of interesting information about Aurora and Norvegian nature. We enjoyed the sitting around the fire and the refreshment. Coming back after midnight, the bus driver stopped just in front of our hotel. Thank you very much.

We had a good time chasing the Northern Lights and saw them. We were ~15 people in a minivan and we changed a couple of places until we decided to camp at a place and wait for the lights to appear. Our guide, Jake, was very knowledgeable and shared information and stories. He also took photos of everyone and promised that the pictures would be sent by e-mail in the next 48 hours. In the tour description, it also says you will get your photos. What it does not say is that photos are low-resolution, which makes them almost useless. You need to pay to get a high-resolution photo. Plus, it took one week to get the photos, whereas all other guides had posted them on the other day or two. I have been on other tours where you get the photos right away and with great quality, so you could share them with your friends. Anyway, we enjoyed the northern lights.

Very disappointed as we did not see the lights which I know is not the tours fault yet it did not feel like a “chase”. At the start we were told cloud and wind was coming so why didn’t we try to avoid the way the wind was blowing?This already made us dubious on if we would actually see the lights. We stopped twice first stop we didn’t get out of the minibus it was too windy yet we was also surrounded by street and house lights which is confusing after just being told we need to avoid light pollution so surely we wouldn’t of seen the lights there anyway?!…Second stop was better and away from light pollution but we kept getting told it’s windy and the cloudy in our direction so my question was why didn’t we move? As previously mentioned we got told where the cloud was coming from so why did we go in that direction and not try to avoid it! Instead we stood around a small camp fire waiting for 2 hours under a cloudy sky. I had pretty much given up on being able to see the lights as even I know being a complete novice that it wasn’t going to be visible. The tour guide was lovely but there didn’t seem to be much effort in “chasing” the lights and a few comments made at the start seemed as though they new this but obviously weren’t going to say and reschedule 5 minibus’ full of people.

Amazing trip. Lucia was very knowledgeable and fun. She found the right spot and the whole sky was filled with northern lights, it was magical.
The little bond fire was a great extra under the stars with some delicious local snacks and hot drinks.

This tour was amazing!! We had great views from our fire pit and the lights did not disappoint. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took great photos of everyone. If you want to see the lights, definitely book this tour!

It was a cloudy night so the chances of seeing the Northern Lights were slim but Boris really showed his passion and put so much effort to show us the lights. We were able to capture a few pictures of the lights! We really appreciated time a d effort put into showing us a great time.

Malgré la tempête de neige annoncée, le tour n'a pas été annulé. Le guide nous a emmené à côté d'un lac où il a allumé un feu au bord de la route, on a à peine eu le temps de boire une boisson chaude et mangé que la neige a commencé à tomber sans s'arrêter. Au bout d'une demi-heure, on est rentrés à Tromso sous la neige. La compagnie aurait dû annuler le tour.

Una excursión increíble, había tiempo antes y fuimos a ver la puesta de sol, luego el guía nos llevó a un punto precioso donde se podía apreciar perfectamente la aurora, sin árboles o montañas al lado del mar.
Aunque había cielo despejado no había mucho movimiento solar y aún así conseguimos verlas.

La unica experiencia positiva el gran trabajo del Conductor del autocar.
El dia del tour habia una gran tormenta de nieve y el Oprador no nos informo de.
Nos encontramos con la tormenta en el camino , se tenia que ir a 2o ms x hora y al autocar se le rompio un limpiaparabrisas y el otro se le congelaba.
Le sugeri al Guia que habia que considerar si valia la peno arriesgarse y se molesto mucho, fue agresivo y no atendia a razones solo le interesaba que tuvieramos claro como colocarnos para hacer sus fotos (lo repitio muchas veces) y que si noostros haciamos fotos no pusieramos el flash para no estroperar sud fotos, esa era su unica preoupacion.
Despues de sufrir por 3 horas el tiempo se arreglo y fuimos dano vueltas sin nada.
Al regreso nos volvimos a encontrar con la tormenta y el pobre conductor tenia con conducir sin ningun limpia parabrisas.
El chofer ya le habia dicho al guia consuiderar regresar por las condiciones del tiempo pero se nego
Porque no se nos aviso del estado de la carretera y se jugo con nuestra integridad ????
Una verguenza.

Regarding your feedback, the guide succeeded in finding the clear sky. It is the main goal in the challenging nights in the aurora chase.

Regarding photo techniques staying still is the only way to take pictures at night. If you move even a bit the photo will be blurred.

Wir hatten Glück und haben schöne Nordlichter gesehen. Ein unvergleichliches Erlebnis.
Die Tour selbst war enttäuschend. Der Guide hat die ganze Fahrt über nichts erzählt. Es gab keine Heißgetränke und der Imbiss war schlecht. Auf der Rückfahrt saßen wir dann über 30 Minuten in einem Tankstellenshop. Diese Fahrerpause hätte man vorher unter den Nordlichtern machen können.

Tivemos azar com o dia, a guia foi super-competente, mas a empresa em.si nao parece ter uma boa organizacao. Encontrar o ponto de encontro foi uma aventur que quase me fazia perder o grupo, uma confusao na saida dos autocarros, muita incerteza e algum nivel de improvisacao, autocarro com pedidos de ajuda a outros autocarros...nao deixou muita confianca.

Tres bon guide ( belge ) , véhicule vaste et confortable ( Mercedes Sprinter je pense ).
Toutefois le repas servi n'est pas formidable : une boite en carton avec des wraps froids .
Dans un autre tour d'une autre organisation , nous avons reçu des pochettes lyophilisées , bien chaudes grâce à l'eau bouillante d'un thermos . Il est dommage que le chauffeur , apres avoir allumé un petit feu , reste dans le véhicule au lieu de préparer les boissons et repas , ce qui laisserait plus de temps au guide pour sa vraie mission.
