Unlike many of their other competitors; they didn’t specify in their title that they require an International Driving Permit (IDP). They had it in the fine print in the overview. I had made a booking for the same day and got to the office 30 mins earlier. The young lady was kind and apologetic but mentioned that I couldn’t get a refund because it was considered a same day cancellation.
Such a fun and exhilarating experience! We had a blast driving through the streets of Tokyo! Highly recommended and safe 🏁🏎️💖

I would leave 0 stars if possible, very shady company. I am a solo traveler who has been to 40 plus countries and used Viator for most of my excursions. I can admit that I was uninformed about the exact credentials required to drive international. Since I only had with me my drivers license from my home country, and just learned about the international drivers permit I was unable to do the experience. It only got shady after manager Tiemi, and staff assured me that since I did not use the voucher I could be refunded which seemed fair. After spending hours and giving me a run around contacting Viator and much more they went back on their original statement and refused to give me a refund. I just wish they were more transparent and did not waste my time with processing the refund.
This was an amazing experience. We enjoyed riding the carts through Tokyo's busiest streets. Our guide, Azuki, was so great!
Amy was awesome. We had a great time. Would book again. They explain everything about safety and make sure you are safe the whole time. They also take pictures of you for memories.

A really great fun experience. I was a little nervous of driving around the city but I needn't have been as the guides are excellent and put you at your ease.
Driving over the Shibuya crossing, not once but twice is such a memorable experience. Great value for money.
Helpful notes: I got a little lost finding the meeting point so allow time to get there.
The karts have a top box to store small personal items.
The karts are much noisier than expected. Try and get a front kart, number 1 or 2, to be able to hear the guides.
It's much cooler in temperature at night and fab to see everything lit up! 😁

Great experience. The Liberty Walk go-karts are nice and fun to drive. The staff is friendly and speaks good English. It's an enjoyable way to see Tokyo. Highly recommend!
Amazing experience, such a Fun way to explore Tokyo. Laura the tour guide was amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic.
My 18 year old son and I did the go karting together and it was amazing. Very calm no pressure the two young ladies at the shop were amazing explaining everything to us and our tour guide was the sweetest. She also took amazing pictures of my son and I which I will cherish forever because taking pictures with a teenager is nearly impossible and she got so many good shot and sent them to me at no additional charge. If I am ever back in Japan that will definitely be my number one go to thing to do. I truly enjoyed it so much.

Azuki and her partner (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her name) were like hanging out with friends. Both were friendly and gave me a warm reception. The entire crew were actually very personable. Tokyo Z was one of my most memorable experiences while visiting Tokyo. Cruising the streets of Tokyo was scenic and adrenaline inducing. The electric karts are solid and out of all the ones I saw out that night from other companies (gas,) Tokyo Z’s karts were so fast. We got to open it up on a few stretches and I didn’t stop smiling. The laughs were many and the instruction top tier. You will get lots of photos to take home with you to share, as well. Thanks ladies for a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to visit and do it again in the future.

The absolute best go kart in Tokyo, really doesn’t compare to the others. The karts were electric so you go faster than the standard gas karts. The price was also much lower than some others who are charging upwards of ¥20000 per person. This one is half that price for the same, if not better experience. Instructors and guides were knowledgeable and easy to understand and follow. Highly recommend to anyone above all the other kart tours!
