A Birthday Dinner I Won’t Forget: Seasonal Perfection and Warm Hospitality

    Jana_S, Apr 2026
I joined this experience on my birthday, and it turned into something far beyond what I expected. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful and personal. It was a small group—just myself, a couple from the US, and our guide Ryo—which made the entire evening feel more like dining with friends than a structured tour. The meal itself was exceptional. Each course highlighted seasonal ingredients, many of which are only available in April, and you could taste that attention to detail in every dish. The chef was not only incredibly skilled but also warm and engaging, taking the time to explain each course and share additional context that made the experience even richer. What stood out just as much as the food was the atmosphere. The service was seamless and genuinely kind—the staff were attentive without ever feeling formal or distant. There was a natural ease to the entire evening. Ryo brought everything together. He created a relaxed, welcoming environment and made it easy for everyone to connect, which elevated the experience in a way that’s hard to describe but very easy to feel. The birthday touch at the end was unexpected and truly appreciated. It was a simple gesture, but it captured the spirit of the entire evening—thoughtful, warm, and memorable. This wasn’t just a great meal. It was a complete experience, and one I won’t forget.

    Amazing Omakase with amazing host

    Brittany_M, Aug 2025
I chose this experience for my husband's birthday and I have to say it was the best omakase experience. Our guide, Ryo, was so kind and funny, and taught us lots about the food and dishes. He was very personable. The chef made excellent food and was able to accommodate for me. Portions and timing of the food was perfect, as you had some time in between each course to chat with everyone. I also really enjoyed the drinks. They offer alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. It was very cozy and intimate and it was fun being able to chat with the chef, sous chef and even one other guest! Luckily, Ryo was able to translate for us so we never felt lost or excluded. I highly recommend this experience for anyone, but I think going as a couple or small group would be best. Just make sure to be hungry when you go!

    Great Omakase!

    Sushi Dinner

It was our 25th anniversary. We wanted a private exquisite sushi experience. This was everything and more. Our host Ryo was great, excellent English and a very nice young man.
