Three Farms Island Olive Oil Tasting

Fabio and his partner Anarella have a wonderful farm. So much thought goes into keeping traditions alive and sustainable whilst running the farm. Fabio has excellent knowledge of the trees and varieties that are produced there. He spoke to us about farming methods that are used to enhance the flavour and quality of the produce, as well as protect the longevity of the trees. As English speakers, we had no issues with communication. Anarella made us an excellent brunch with products from the olives and fruits grown on the farm, we sampled a variety of fresh cheeses and breads which were all delicious. They were both extremely hospitable and even helped to give us some knowledge of the local area and places to travel to. I would highly recommend this experience, if not one of the others that they provide. Three Farms Island really is a must see for an authentic Sicilian experience!
