On route, listen to the live onboard commentary about this splendid city, Europe’s largest during the 10th century with around 500,000 inhabitants, and located on the River Guadalquivir. Founded by the Romans, Cordoba was a major Moorish center between the 8th and 13th centuries, leaving it with many of the Islamic buildings that epitomize its UNESCO-listed center.
On arrival in the city, set off to explore the historical center as your guide recounts its tangled, multicultural history. Admire the Roman Bridge and Calahorra Tower, the 12th-century tower-gate, and delve into the atmospheric streets of the former Jewish Quarter, the biggest in Europe.
Hear how Cordoba’s Jewish community helped drive its prosperity during the Middle Ages, and take a look at the medieval Synagogue. Admire other landmarks including the restored, 9th-century Albolaifa water wheel on the Guadalquivir, and then visit the city's showpiece: Cordoba Mosque (Mezquita).

Excellent tour it a must, were coordinated visit Carmona on the way to Cordova. A lot of information about Cordova and the Cathedral is a most.
Cordoba was amazing! So much to see and learn about, the history is fascinating! The guides were great too, very informative and friendly. Would highly recommend.
Great day trip but as with many European day trips, there is a lot of walking and standing on hard surfaces. Plenty of time for most of the sightseeing but you may want to go back for more exploring. The guide was great as most Spanish guides are.
Amazing experience and the mosque/church was extremely impressive. Our tour guide for the mosque dua an amazing job too.
Fouad was our guide for the day and we were very happy with him.
I booked with Viator from the start and they were hopeless answering messages and even gave the incorrect address for pickup. Fortunately the tour to Cordoba with Fouad was run through the same company we had used the day before.
Ishmeal was a charming and knowledgeable with his presentation of Cordoba. I loved that he was dressed for the part. He was thoroughly entertaining which made the presentation delightful.
It was a nice tour, well organised, good guides, comphortable bus. Cordoba is a charming city. Beautiful mosque cathedral. Should have shorter lunch and more time to visit the sights.

We had a lovely day trip to Córdoba, which was very well organised from start to finish, we had an additional stop in Carmona. Our guide Pia was friendly and knowledgeable she made the experience enjoyable throughout.
Antonio, our guide at the Mezquita-Cathedral. He was incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of this remarkable building. His explanation of the different stages of its history and its importance in Andalusian culture made the visit particularly interesting and memorable.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience with excellent guides. Who were able to accommodate the English/ Spanish/ italian speakers. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Córdoba!
Driss was a wonderful guide. He has a great sense of humor; he was informed and taught us so much. He managed a difficult situation with a couple of folks in our group with a gentle touch. Highly recommend.
Wonderful! Especially because our guide, Ismael was so smart, funny, personable and shared his humanistic point of view.
He also came back down some stairs to guide us a stair free way because my husband cannot do a whole flight.
The trip was amazing. Our guide for the trip was nice. We had another guide for the Cordoba mosque and he was very knowledgeable.
If I could have, I would have given it zero stars. They left my friend and I behind in Cordoba, in the middle of the tour. They told us to enter a home to check out the indoor patio. They divided us in two groups because the area was small. We were in the last group. When we came outside the group and tour guide were gone. There was never a headcount. The tour guide, Ines, never gave us instructions on what to do if we got separated. We called their main office and they said that Ines wasn't answering her phone. They promised to call us back and didn't do it nor answer any more of our calls. We wasted the entire tour. Had no idea where to go. Took a chance and sat outside the Mezquite because we knew it was part of the tour. After five hours we were able to find them among hundreds of people trying to enter the Mezquite when the doors opened for the last tour. We didn't even eat or drink anything afraid that we would miss the group. This was by far the worst tourist experience of our lives. Later Ines told us to contact the company for a refund and it's been two months and no reply. We took other tours with other companies during this trip and they were amazing. Everyone does frequent headcounts and gives you a phone number and instructions at the beginning in case people get lost. This was the worst nightmare ever. I do not recommend this company at all.

Our guides Driss and Nacho were excellent. Everything was well organized and interesting. The large bus was comfortable.
Initially started with changing buses and translating in two languages. After that it went better with more focused group. The tour inside cordoba was very good.
Everything from Registration until dropoff was amazing. Highly recommend it. Ana, Luis and Alejandro explained everything

WOW! What a day. Lucas was a very knowledge tour guide. The walking tour was so fun and educational and took us to neighborhoods I would have never known were there. The Mosque-Cathedral is a place that will leave you in Awe!
Great trip to Cordoba with a stop in Cardona. Ines was our guide throughout the trip with 2 different guides inside the Cathedral and through Cordoba. It was a very well organised trip which run very smoothly. I truly recommend it.
Lovely day trip to Cordoba with a stop in Cormona. We had a great day on this well organised trip in the company of Inez and Jesus. The guides were very well informed and entertaining. Even with a big group and operating in four languages the guides did a great job! We had a nice walking tour of Cremona and Cordoba.
A special thanks to the wonderful guide at the mosque/cathedral – Josė – who gave us a super tour. His knowledge of the history and evolution of the building and its place in Andalusian history was just exceptional. Definitely recommended!

Excellent tour we arrived at the office early 8.25 we were told to arrive at 8.40. We didn't depart with coach until 9.20. That aside Excellent day

The walking portion was good. Ivan was knowledgeable and friendly.
But the cathedral/mosque portion, which was the main part of this tour, was very disappointing. The tour guide was hard to understand and only showed us minimal parts of the cathedral/mosque. We were not given any free time to explore the majority of it that she skipped over. So we left knowing we missed most of it and we're not given opportunity to see it. Extremely disappointed and felt very cheated as we left.

Carlos was a wonderful guide and so helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately we didn’t have him for the tour other than Mosque and Cathedral.
It is a very long tiring and educational day. Unfortunately if one has mobility issues or difficulty walking cobbled streets and long distances, this is not for you.

Our guide, Pía, from the trip company, Naturanda, was excellent! The excursion to Cordoba is worthwhile. While the mosque is fascinating and breathtaking, our official guide had such a strong accent, we really struggled to understand him.
Make sure that the guide has a clear accent and a voice that carries well, because, depending on how many are in your group and how many other groups are in your immediate vicinity, you may not understand what is being said.

Marce was a pleasure to travel with to Carmona/Cordoba. She was extremely knowable about all the sites we visited plus well organized and personable, friendly and humorous in her delivery! We were a rather large group (more than 30), but she kept us together in crowded spaces at the height of tourist season, not an easy feat!
The tour was doomed for my party (four people) from the very start. The tour guide Merci was late arriving to the initial meeting point by just under 30 minutes counting the time the tour operator ask guests to arrive. She did offer an excuse indicating that traffic delayed her but that says to me that traffic wasn’t factored into planning. Also, there was also an issue with the bus transport for the tour. Informed that bus driver had an emergency and they would need to figure out alternative transportation which they did with not much more of a delay. I requested an all English tour experience but found that they were prepared for a dual speaking tour until the Italian couple said they were fine with English. Also during the walking experience of the tour they had no radios for the guest or the tour guide throughout except at the Cordoba Mosque.
