This had to be the best experience ever. We were picked up from our hotel and given a great history lesson along the way to French Cay. Just the ride alone to us was worth this price. The experience only got better once we arrived.
They took care in getting us outfitted in gear and going over everything. The boat is easy to board, clean, and comfortable. The Deckhand became the "wizard of the dark" (my quote) navigating us the entire way. Dude is an encyclopedia and is excited to share knowledge. He was so patient even with my overstimulated brain. This put in fear of the dark at bay (no pun intended). Every instruction was clear but it really felt more like hanging out with a good friend thats excited to show you cool stuff.
We saw so many different fish, octopus, lobster, squid, rays, lionfish(boo) and even a sleeping parrot fish. He hit the UV light and showed us glowing anemones that about made me loose my snorkel. What a sight.
Once done we were guided back to the boat and safely transported back to the dock.
This is truly an experience I will never forget. Even my partner was in total appreciation of what we had just done. We always felt safe and never left alone. The value of this experience is worth WAY more than the cost.
You guys must try this!!!!

Absolutely amazing adventure. We felt safe the whole time, Philip took his time and explained everything we saw. Octopus, Stingrays, lobster, barracuda and more! Jacob picked us up and gave us a great rundown of the history of the island and its people. I couldn’t recommend this experience more!
This was well worth the time! Such a wonderful experience and top notch customer care! This experience will be remembered forever and it was extra special because of the personable customer care.
Was a little out of my comfort zone in pitch blank, was really cool to see small octopus, spiky lobsters and coral that glowed in the dark! Was a little more swimming than I thought, and at times difficult with the wind and current, but my 16 year old son and I did ii, we did wear life jackets so that made me feel better!!
This was amazing. Ronald and Phillip are so kind gracious and knowledgeable. Ronald picked us up and gave us a wonderful introduction to the island as he drove us to the boat told us so much about life in Roatan. He was our boat captain on a beautiful boat. Phillip was snorkel master - told us about things we didn't know about helped us find many octopuses to observe and pointed out many things we might've missed otherwise. This was amazing!!!
By far one of my favorite adventures while visiting Roatán! The guides are very educated on the local wildlife and environment. They were also very accommodating and helped with anything we needed. We got to see tons of fish, octopus, sharks, lobster, eels, and cuttlefish! 10/10 recommend and will be back!
We absolutely loved this tour. Jacob was a great guide...so knowledgeable and friendly. We will do this again on our next trip with this same company.
We had an awesome time! It was just my partner and I and we saw some amazing sea life! We saw a snake eel, octopus, several lobsters, some cool anemones, and a couple stingrays! The guide made us feel very comfortable in the water at night. This was my first time snorkeling at night and I would absolutely do it again after this experience!

This was an amazing experience. We saw so much and Jacob made us feel very comfortable. He went out of the way to make sure we had the perfect evening and got to see all the underwater creatures that come out at night! I highly recommend this snorkeling tour. Would definitely book with them again!
We are from Florida and have done a lot of snorkeling but never at night. This was a new experience. We saw 2 or 3 octopus a squid, 3 puffer fish, lion fish and huge lobsters, starfish And other glowing sea life. Jim and his partner are a wealth of knowledge on the seaside and the island. The highlight of our trip so far. You will enjoy your time with Jim and the time in the water.

Philip and Jim were super friendly, picking us up at our accommodation and easing our nerves. They both have a wealth of knowledge about the marine life and island. Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone. It’s just too bad we left it until our last night because if we were staying longer, we’d have done it again!
We went night snorkeling and it was amazing. Our guides were awesome. Night snorkeling is life changing. Having a knowledgeable guide made it much more relaxing and exciting!!
Philip was awesome showed us octopus sea rays and moray eels he was such a great tour Giuide he even drove us to Wendy’s so that we can get dinner because we got back to our hotel after the restaurant had closed. I give it five stars such a cool experience.
To be honest, we were a bit nervous about the night darkness. But our guides put us at ease with their knowledge and confidence. We each had underwater flashlights and the group was only 7 people, so we were able to stay close to the guide. We saw octopus, eel, and a variety of other amazing creatures. I hope to make another trip to Roatan, partly because of this adventure.
We had a great time! Night snorkeling was an awesome experience and the whole team at Roatan Getaway Tours was excellent - our snorkeling guide in particular made sure to point out all the interesting sea life (including an octopus!).
