PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS Port of Mahogany Bay (Carnival Cruise Port) As soon as you get off of the cruise ship you must walk about 1/4 mile, we apologize in advance for the distance. Due to company policy, the port does not allow independent tour operators to enter the cruise port. You will pass a two-story red roofed building. You must walk through the plaza where you will see many stores. Then you will go down the covered gangway. Take a left onto the paved road near the security gate. You will have to walk about 250 yards up a small hill. Port of Roatan Town center (Royal Caribbean / Norwegian) We will be waiting for you when you arrive to the cruise port at Coxen Hole. As soon as you get off of the cruise ship, please walk out to the main road where you’ll find your driver. NOTE: Pick up is 30 minutes to an hour after the cruise ship arrives at the port, thank you. Don't rush yourselves, we will be waiting for you, we understand that it takes time for you to get off of the ship. If your ship makes an itinerary change and you arrive into a scheduled port on an alternate date, please do not assume that your trip has been cancelled. Your reservation will be scheduled for the new date.

Travel to and from the ship was great. The snorkeling was very good and the guides were excellent. The excursion was the perfect length, around 2 hours from ship and back, I would definitely do again.

Amazing. Joseph dove with us and pointed out and named the fish we saw. Great knowledge and personality . Austin was our captain and assisted and kept us safe. Definitely would do again

Tour operators were quick to respond to any inquiries I had. Once at the dock, we were greeted warmly and settled in with fins and put on the boat. Captain Gary and the rest of the staff were wonderful. The snorkeling experience was fantastic. Garrett did a great job of guiding us over the reef pointing out different things in the water. We ended above an old shipwreck which was really cool to see. Would definitely book again.

This was my beat experience in Roatan (we come annually) and one of the best overall (Australia is hard to beat). We snorkeled, had lunch at a local brewery with tour, and shopped at nearby markets. All perfectly safe! Ilene (new) was perfect, she honestly made our experience even better. I highly recommend this tour and the company. I'm sure everyone at ROA is just as great as Ilene! We will definitely be booking with Ilene/ROA this year on our next trip.

While the staff managing the tour were professional and welcoming, and the pickup from the Coxen Hole port was smooth, there are a few aspects I’d like to highlight.
The snorkeling itself was enjoyable, and the marine life added to the experience. However, I was disappointed with the discrepancy in the advertised duration of the tour. The description mentioned a 3-hour experience, but we only snorkeled for about 40 minutes at a single spot close to the shore. This is a significant difference that could lead to unmet expectations.
Regarding the snorkeling site, while there was enough marine life to make the adventure enjoyable, the coral appeared quite damaged, unfortunately. As someone who has snorkeled in destinations like French Polynesia and Bonaire, the contrast in coral health was noticeable.
Overall, it was a good tour with a friendly and professional team. However, I would recommend providing clearer information about the actual snorkeling time to better align expectations.

We had an excellent tour! They had a driver, Elaine, pick us up right at the exit of the cruise port and drove us to the marina and back afterwards. She was very friendly and informative about the area and sights along the drive. As the other people coming from other ships were stopping at the sloth and monkey facility first (we had done that on a prior cruise), we were the only two at the marina when we arrived. Rather than making us wait for the others, our captain Doug took just the two of us out for the ultimate personal snorkel with our excellent in-water guide, Darren. Darren showed us so many things we would have likely missed in a larger group, and we saw a wide variety of beautiful aquatic life. The corral was amazing, much more colorful and alive than some other places we have snorkeled in the Caribbean. We would highly recommend this tour!

We had an great experience from the very moment we were picked up from the port. Which they supplied. Anna was our car service. I loved that she was our guide for the day. The guide was wonderful n very informative. The tour was amazing, beautiful, and afforfable. We ended the adventure at a lovel beach, ate delicious food, fish n conch.
