If you’re a football/soccer/futbol fan, this is a must see tour! Buying the ticket through here might be helpful if it’s a busy day, but otherwise, you can just buy it at the box office. Each tour is held every 15 minutes, although it is a self-guided tour and lasts about 40 minutes. Nonetheless, it was great seeing such a historic stadium where World Cup finals have been held!

Great tour to see historic stadium. Didn’t necessarily need to pre-book tickets. I think it took longer to figure out the Viator voucher than to purchase tickets in normal line but probably worth it on busier day. Also, be careful if using Uber afterwards. The suggested pick-up spot is quite a hike.

The visiting at Maracana is one of wonder. I prefer my organize anytime and it is very good idea in this visit too. I can take good enogh time for everything. All visible thing is fantastic in the stadium. Additional, there is a nice restaurant good fresh foods and drinks availability. The prices ara more than friendly. Everything went fluently. Strong recommend this activity in Rio.

It's quite a decent tour, but you're not taken around, just left to look and wonder yourself. Some may like this of course. The exhibits (shirts and balls) are ok, but there is no wow factor. Getting up into the stands was good. If you're a football fan I recommend it, but don't expect to much and you'll be fine!

It was a great experience the whole tour, but there were three topics that spoiled it, because they omitted the truth or make it an unimpartial exhibition.
The first one was at the dressing room where there is a notice that indicates that there are displayed the football shirts of all the winners of Copa Libertadores of América.
But the football shirt of the winner of Copa Libertadores of América 2014, wasn´t in that room.
When I complained to the assistant why it was not there the football shirt of Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro, the winner of 2014 edition, just the same year the World Cup that took place in that stadium. She replied ironically to me suggesting that I should hand in one sample as a present to be showed instead.
It is a pity moreover if you take into account that it is the favourite football team of Pope Francis.
The second chance to mend this omission was at the moment of taking a picture besides the football field. Neither the football shirt nor the flag was available at that instance.
The third awkward moment whas at the hall of fame where the only non brazilian player name displayed respectfully there was Franz Beckenbauer...omitting again players like Johan Cruyff, Maradona or Messi...just to mentioned only three in addition.

It was a great day. Your was at own pace. Take your time and read all the information. Good to hang back from the crowd if lots in your allotted time that way you can get better photos. Takes longer but best for the memories. Got Uber there and back which was easy

Paid extra for guided tour and ended with walking round myself as it wasn't available. Staff were dismissive and generally you can walk around in about 10 minutes. Wouldnt recommend.
