Itinerary

Begin your private tour with pickup at your lodgings in Rio, where you'll meet your professional photographer guide. Dedicated to you and your private group, the guide will do double duty orienting you to the city and snapping keepsake photographs as you explore.

Board a comfortable private tour vehicle and head for the city's most iconic sight: Corcovado Mountain (2,309ft/704m). After posing in front of the Christ the Redeemer Statue and crossing those two iconic sights of your list, continue along Botafogo Beach and by by Palácio Guanabara, the official residence of the state´s governor. Pass the old manor homes and coffee plantations of the 19th century in the Cosme Velho and Laranjeiras districts. Additionally, view some relics of the Brazilian Empire: Casa dos Abacaxis and Largo do Boticário.

Head for Praia Vermelha, passing the National Institute for Mineral Resources, the Institute Benjamin Constant for the blind and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro's impressive neo-classical buildings.

Hop on the cable car to head up to Sugar Loaf Mountain (1295ft/395m), stopping at Urca Hill on the way. Spend 30 minutes enjoying views and snapping photos at the top of Sugar Loaf before heading back to your Rio hotel for drop-off.

Terrible customer service! It clearly said that my activity needed good weather. It was rainy and foggy this morning, so my photos will be terrible! Viator and the Local company refused to re-schedule for tomorrow and they would not give our money back! Do not book with Viator! They will scam you.

We don't do this on the day due to weather conditions. To change, we need the customer to contact us at least one day in advance, and this is evident in the description of the tour, whatever it may be. In fact, you can confirm that we have other reviews here saying that the tour was incredible, despite the weather conditions. It was a great experience. We felt well taken care of, and having someone taking pictures while my family and I just enjoyed the landscapes and beauty of the Corcovado and Sugar Loaf was a wonderful treat to end our vacation with golden keys. Everything went very smoothly. We had a wonderful photographer, Pedro, and a pleasant and safe driver, Alex. Now I just have to go over the many pictures (more than 100) to choose my favorites :-)
