30 minutes is an estimation of flight duration. The important thing is the itinerary. Due to different wind conditions every day, flights can last from 25 to 35 minutes.
Total Weight Limit of 360 kilos. That gives us an average of 120 kilos per person. Passengers over 150 kilos may not be able to fly if seatbelt does not fit.
Passengers must arrive no later than 20 minutes before schedule. If coming from copacabana area, allow at least 1 hour to arrive at helipad due to heavy traffic
Customers must arrive on time for the flight. If customers arrive late, it will be considered a noshow as we reserve the schedule for that specific customer.

The flight itself was nice and well worth the quite expensive price even just for 30 mins. The service though sadly left a lot to be desired for such a private booking. We were asked to come an hour earlier which luckily was fine for us but when we arrived we had been given the wrong directions and no one spoke English. Of course it’s our own fault we don’t speak Portuguese, but for these kind tourist trips globally it’s very strange that there are no English speakers. We eventually found the right hangar but were then left to sit in the heat for an hour and 15 mins with no explanation. When we contacted the travel agency they essentially told us that this kind of chaos is very common and offered barely even an apology. I would definitely try a different provider if you are looking to treat your family to a private flight.

Hello there. I believe you missunderstood what we said. The chaos we mentioned was about the end of the year, the busiest season for us. About the english issue, one of our two recepcionist left the company on the 24th of december and we didnt have time to get another person that can speak english ut you were in touch with main office via whatsapp all the time. About standing in the heat that is impossible because the hangar is huge and has roof, afterall there is where we keep the helicopters. I am sorry you had a bad experience but some of the things you said i am afraid were not totally true as well. If you think the price is expensive please check the prices of the 2 biggest companies in Rio, HeliRio and Helisight, at least 30% more than what we charge

Viator did not notify the helicopter operator of our booking. They did fit us in but in an old Robinson 44. Small noisy and uncomfortable with seat belts that were broken. We asked for Spanish speaking pilot...our pilot did not say a word the whole trip. Our friends used a different company and got a big new helicopter with drinks, audio descriptions of all the sights etc. Very disappointing tour.

I am sorry you feel that way but if you look at most of the reviews, no one complains about the helicopter. If it was in fact a poor air craft in terms of comfort and safety dont you think all the other clients would have given us the same poor review? I believe you flew with another company i am afraid because none of these statements fit our service and air craft quality

An awesome thing to do while in Rio. The private group means you don’t get your view obscured by another party and you can choose where you sit. The pilot takes you past the coastline along to Sugar Loaf and then circles Christ the Redeemer one direction then again in another. The only thing we did t get was a commentary of the beaches and favelas that we flew over.

This was my wife and mine first time visiting to Rio de Janeiro, we initially didn't plan on doing a helicopter tour but after this we are so glad, it is as the best part of the trip. Everyone from the staff were absolutely amazing and friendly, from booking to greeting us and of course during the Flight. The price may seem a bit expensive but compared to what others are charging for a 7-8 min flight, this was a bargain for30 mins flight that will be the highlight of anyone's trip. Don't think twice, just book it!

Very professional staff, Great communication as well, As soon as I booked the tour I was contacted by Andre which I believe he is the manager there, He confirmed the reservation with me as well as provided me with the address and other info. Once arrived The lady at the front desk "Bell" was very welcoming and friendly. Then on to our tour, I have done many helicopter tours in many parts of the world but I can honesty say this was one of the best experiences. The Helicopter was clean and well maintained, The pilot was very friendly and a great guide to the city and the sights. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone that's looking to view rio from above. Thank you, until next time I'm in Rio.

No se puede tolerar que lleguemos y nos digan que no tenemos reserva, según me comentaron la empresa que da el servicio nadie le notifico nada así que después de llamadas se convierto en overboooking. La empresa que da el servicio quiso arreglarlo haciendo el viaje por la noche pero nosotros queríamos por el día. BAJO MI PUNTO DE VISTA NO VOLVERÉ A UTILIZAR A VIATOR EN NINGUNO DE TANTOS VIAJES QUE HAGO AL AÑO.

Sir i am afraid most of your review is not true. You booked during carnival, a busy time for us. We sell in different channels and they are not all sinchronized. We had another booking for the same time you picked. Even the largest airline companies have overbookings. So we contacted you on viator to offer a refund or a different time. You never responded.bSo we tried whatsapp and again no response. You showed up there making demands and treating people like garbage. You yelled at the staff and we offered another time later that day. You declined. We offered reimbursement for the Uber and you were supposed to send us your paypal account which you never did. You also kept asking for the refund which we already made on that same day. So we did what we could but to be honest i think that even if you had done the flight with us that day you would have found a way to give us a poor review anyways. I hope that other clients do not consider your review when they book with us. The way you treated us was unfair and inhuman. Have a nice day sir.
