Almost 3 weeks in Brazil and we did 3 total hikes. This was the best experience. Our guide Ian kept us well informed and entertained throughout. He set a great pace and made this very enjoyable, despite my friend and I being in different fitness levels. The views from the summit were spectacular.

we hiked the highest peak in Rio, inside the tijuca forest. It was incredible!!!
What made it the best was our guide, Yan!!! We had great conversations, he has an impeccable attitude and was great fun to be around.
He took us to see the best spots along the way, shared his snacks and gave us an awesome history lesson of the Tijuca National Park and Rio.
Thank you, Yan!!! You're the best!!!

Jalmir was a great tour guide and photographer. He was prompt in meeting us and taking us to the location. I was a bit scared by the stairs and chain portion of the hike to get all the way to the peak, but pushed through the steep stairs and was very happy. The whole thing took around 2 hours up (steep climb) and an hour ish down. Highly recommend!

This is a gorgeous hike through the rain forest. It definitely requires a level of fitness as the climb is steep in some places and lengthy, with fantastic steps at the end. Sadly we went up on a rainy, misty day so we couldn't see what is probably a fantastic view through the clouds. But you can't predict the weather and the climb was still worth it. Especially as we were a very small group.

What an awesome way to spend our last day in Rio.Our guide Daniel from Rio Natural was on time and did an incredible job making sure we safely made our way along the jungle trail to reach the final push up the rock face to finally arrive at the magnificent views that greeted us at the summit Pica de Tijuca.Absolutely Breathtaking 🤩Daniel gave us plenty of time to take in the views and take plenty of photos etc.before the descent Along the way we stopped at several viewing points with Daniel explaining much about the history fauna and flora of this extraordinarily precious and beautiful National Park.So very grateful to Daniel for making our visit so special ps thanks Daniel for these photos 💖🤩

Daniel was a great guide! Gave lots of fun facts about Rio and the forest throughout the hike. Unfortunately when we got to the peak, it was quite cloudy. I would suggest double checking the weather prior to booking. Overall, it was a great hike :)
