We had a pretty good time. You had a chance to ride on multiple terrains and see the area up close. The horses were calm and very well trained. The guides were patient and helpful. They made sure the saddles were adjusted for each rider and they were there if someone dropped something or needed extra help getting down. The ride felt like we were on the horses forever.

We had a great experience from start to finish. We were picked up from the resort and had a short ride to our excursion. The horse ride was beautiful. Took us on the beach and through the woods. At the end they did take us to some shops but they were not pushy. Overall great experience. I would definitely recommend this excursion!

The overall experience was okay. Mainly the views of the beach was what we enjoyed the most. No instructions on what to do or how to ride, just helped us on the horses then we just rode off. We rode through the beach but then went onto concrete road where there was a lot of construction and traffic. Road Back onto the beach then back into the concrete road. It felt like we were on the horses so long we got extremely sore. My horse was doing what it wanted, pushing me into other horses or trying to ride me into the bushes so it could eat. The instructor do take your pictures for you. Toward the end they will pressure you to buy from gift shop and will be upset if you don’t. Which made the ride back very awkward and sketchy when dropping us back off at pick up point. The drive back was one of the worst rides I’ve ever had, driver was speeding and blasting music and swerving. Cool to experience horseback riding on the beach but won’t do again.

This excursion was mixed for us. First, the horseback riding was great. The employees were very helpful. You don’t have to be an experienced rider. They helped take some great pictures of us along the way. The beach is very pretty. The horseback riding part was a little over an hour. The transport was what made this excursion not so great. We booked the 9am ride. The day before we got a message to that we would be picked up at 8am. Our transport didn’t arrive until 8:50. I was messaging the tour operator because I figured they missed us. We were told they may have picked up other people first. Nope. We were the first ones. This ended up being a shared transport so it took close to 1.5 hours to pick everyone up and get to to where the ride started. So instead of a 9am ride it started at close to 10:30. That definitely made it less comfortable because it was getting hot. After the tour, we had to wait almost 1/2 hour for a couple people in our van to shop. Then it was almost 1.5 hours back. We didn’t get dropped off until close to 2pm. So we were gone from 8am-2pm and all we had was a single bottle of water. (The tour was advertised as 3 hours). So if you are in a hotel closer to the airport, I do not recommend this trip. They will pick you up but it’s not really worth it. If you are close to Uvelo Alto this may work better. But only if they run on time.

We booked horseback riding with Rancho El Diferente and it ended up being one of the best things we did in Punta Cana. Everything felt organized and easy, and the horses were calm and well cared for. The ride itself along the beach was beautiful, but what really made it was our guide, Fausto. He has been with the ranch for 25 years and was born and raised on the island. You can tell immediately he knows what he is doing. He kept things relaxed, made sure everyone felt comfortable, and struck the right balance of being attentive without overdoing it. We later saw other reviews mentioning him and it makes sense. He stands out. Also worth noting, as a mom, he has five boys and is just one of those people you trust right away. We will absolutely do this again next time we are in the DR and will be asking for Fausto.

We had an amazing horseback riding experience in Punta Cana, and a big part of what made it so special was our guide, Fasao (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly!). He was incredibly friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the ride. The scenery was beautiful, but what really stood out was how personalized the experience felt. At one point, Fasao even took a video of me riding while the horse was running and it turned out to be such a memorable moment and something I’ll definitely look back on for years to come. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving guests a great experience, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had fun. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Punta Cana. If you get the chance, definitely ask for Fasao, 5 stars all the way :)

A nice ride on the beach

I enjoyed my ride. There are 2 things to keep in mind. The site says it's a 3 hour ride, but it's actually less than 2 hours, including photo times. Also, the pick up van will be picking other people up so the drive to and from the riding place will take 1-1 and a half hour each way. If you are an experienced rider, tell the guide so you can get an active horse. Otherwise, you will be with a horse that will fall asleep.

The Cool ocean trip that I will never forget

Well I am enjoying my vacation I haven't went horseback riding in a while. I love horses a lot even when I was a little kid. I loved everything the whole trip on the ocean and get to see different stuff in life. Nice staff that are helpful and know English to also I would recommend this to anyone. Hell I went by myself I been on a lot of trips while on vacation this my top ones. Well hope to see them again and ride horses again just made my day thanks again

The cowboys were helpful and friendly. Rider was a great guide and made sure we were all comfortable with our horses. The horses were well behaved for the most part. The beach was beautiful and you were given ample time at the end to shop. Only thing that I would recommend is that the photographer present the photo options to purchase sooner than later. We had shopped and spent most all our money and in the way out of the store, the photographer approached us to sell us the souvenir photo. Sadly, we didn’t have enough money and had to leave it.

Transportation did not communicate until last minute and pick up. When arriving the guides did not discuss the itinerary. The horses looked unhealthy and some were clearly injured. We were taken to a beach which looked pretty bad. Again There was no instructions on what was happening. Overall it was nice to right a horse across the beach but I would never go there again.

This is a basic horse...

This is a basic horse riding excursion. We were picked up late (almost 30 minutes), then once we arrived and started our excursion, we briefly rode on the beach and some scenic path along the beach, but the rest of the ride was on pavement and unscenic. The horses kept herding together and running into each other, which made the excursion unpleasant. It would have been nice to have been offered water on the stop halfway, but instead was given water at the end of the excursion.

Fantastic excursion off our resort. Booking experience was so easy with prompt response to questions. We also had pick up included at our resort. The ranch is lovely and our two guides were amazing! We had a good amount of time on the beach, secluded in some areas and through the forest. Our guide took special care to give my granddaughter an extra opportunity to gallop on the beach as she has quite a bit of experience riding. All in all a great way to spend a few hours.

From start to finish experience of horseback riding on the beach and through the woods was absolutely amazing. The guide was extremely awesome!!! We laughed about every time we bumped into each other and when they would start to trot a little it was a completely wonderful fun our guide took pictures which we didn't think they would do and even did wonderful videos. We will absolutely do it again ,this time we will bring cash they also have beautiful pictures there that we could purchase.

We were picked up by a driver who was very friendly it was his day off and he chose to come pick us up. The horse backing riding was a lot of fun they took pictures for us We were guided by a young man named Michael who kept the energy and fun going. it was the perfect amount of time to spend riding along the beach.
