They pick up two hours later. We were for almost two hours in a car traveling picking up people before we got to our destination. /besides that, the people were very friendly and service oriented. We have a great time meanwhile we were riding the horses.

Our family had a great time on the beach horseback riding tour! We rode both on the beach and wooded trail. The horses are well trained and knew exactly where to go and what to do. Our daughter is an experienced rider and was able to run on the beach with her horse. Meanwhile, this was the first time our son has been on a horse. Both were comfortable with their horses. Our guides were great and very friendly! You have the option to purchase some souvenirs at the end of the ride, which is nice. Overall, it was a great experience and we had a lot of fun!

The excursion was great but it took a very long time to get there, especially since they stopped at multiple resorts for pickups. One couple had been in the van for 2 hours!!! Not to mention the ac was barely on…The horses were great and tame. Made a stop 1/2 way to rest the horses and to get off to see the beautiful scenery. There were a few small shops at the end. You can avoid it if you don’t want to buy anything. Overall, a good experience except for the long drive.

We had a fun time on this excursion! It was nice to get to ride horses on the beach and my kids (ages 14 and 12) enjoyed their first time on a horse. We felt safe with Fausto and comfortable with the horses. Go to the bathroom ahead of time as the one onsite was not great (to put it nicely) and we did not get to try coconut water like the "what time expect" says, but other than that, it was a good/relaxing time.

Guide (Fausto) was very professional and knowledgeable. Pick up time was exactly
as promised. Beutiful beach very quiet and peaceful. Horses are well trained. Best of all it turned out that it was just myself and my wife on the excursion. Greatful to the company that it was cancelled because it was only the two of us.

Amazing beach and very well behaved horses, they knew where to walk so I could just look around and enjoy the views. At some point I forgot I was on a horse, so comfortable it was! I bought some mamajuana in the souvenir shop, they take card payments and you can haggle for a better price which is quite fun!

10/10 experience. I would do this every time I came to Punta Cana. The tour guides were amazing, the horses were beautiful, and the scenery was unbeatable.

This experience was absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish, everything was well organized and enjoyable. We rode along the beautiful beach and had the opportunity to take amazing photos with the horses...Caramello, Moro, and Picasso.
One of the biggest conveniences was that hotel pick-up and drop-off were included, making the entire experience stress-free from beginning to end.
Our main guide, Fausto, was outstanding! He has over 25 years of ranching experience and was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Alberto was also fantastic (the other guide)
Fausto was even gentleman enough to personally ensure we were dropped back off safely at our hotel. His friendliness and dedication did not go unnoticed.
The excursion took us through scenic trails where we got to see parts of the countryside and breathtaking views. It was clear that the horses are very well cared for, well-trained, and deeply loved by the ranch staff. Their dedication to the animals truly shined through.
One thing I especially appreciated was that there was no pressure to buy anything and no one trying to hustle or upsell us. It was simply a relaxing, authentic, and enjoyable experience.
The length of the excursion was perfect, not too long and not too short. We had an amazing time and would definitely book this excursion again.
My 10y/o really enjoyed having his own individual horse...

Pickup was smooth communication was great! Ethan was our guide and he was a nice humble man. One of the paths off the beach I found to be a little sketchy until we started passing hotels and police were monitoring the area which made me feel safe. Horses looked to be in great shape. It was when we finished the tour there was pushing of sales and attitudes when we didn’t purchase. Our driver sped to get us back to the hotel- assuming he was irritated we didn’t purchase anything from their store. We did tip our tour guide! Overall I would recommend this tour but be prepared for pushy sales at the end.

Our instructor Faunto (not sure if I spelled it correctly) was very hands on and knowledgeable about the horses. From start to finish any questions we asked he was able to answer. His experience throughout the duration of the session was phenomenal. Learning the horses names, picture taking without being rushed and his overall patience. It’s well worth going to.. Until next time we’ll see him again.

Great experience! Was part of a small group of riders. Our guide, Fausto was great! Helped us get on and off the horses and even let my neice, who is a more experienced rider, do a fast gallop down the beach. It made her day. We even stopped along the beach, and our guide took pictures (using our phones) which was very nice. We were able to capture some great memories.

An honest review from a first-timer in the DR and first vacation without parental supervision. The experience was really great. Transport came on time. The gift shop attendees were kind and welcoming. If we had enough in our budget to buy souvenirs we would have. A lot of reviews are mixed when it comes to the gift shops and them peer pressuring you or making you feel guilty. But, remember to work within your budget. Faustos, one of the horse guides was amazing. Very accommodating and helpful, he helped my girlfriend and I get some great photos and videos during the ride. They really take you off the beaten path, the road, the beach, and through a lot of greenery. Views are nice and the horses are amazing. Once again, a lot of reviews will tell you that they give you the instructions and you’re on your own from there, but the instructions are really quite simple and straight forward. The horses move at a good pace and are responsive to all commands or movements. Overall, my girlfriend and I had a great experience and would definitely try again.

Me and three friends went on this excursion. The minute I got there, things felt off. First of all, the horses were severely malnourished and had hip bones sticking out. One of my friends horses had maggots in his hear and on his chest. They just did not look like they’re treated well. On top of that, there was absolutely no communication from the tour guides. They didn’t adjust the saddle or stirrups to you, they didn’t even tell us anything except that we were going to break for 10 minutes. They also didn’t give beginners any instruction or indication as to how to ride the horses or what to do if your horse starts trotting or going faster. On top of all that, the vibes were just….odd. It was nice to see a new side of the island, but this experience just wasn’t it. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, and frankly I wish I had just stayed at my villa instead. I don’t recommend supporting this business- I worry deeply for the horses. Their behavior was not normal horse behavior as someone who grew up riding horses. They seemed weirdly droopy and sedate. If I could give this zero stars, I would. Viator, I suggest you look into this business that you allow on your platform and evaluate the circumstances of these horses and how they’re treated.

The horses are very friendly and they will come and pick you up at your location of choice. Fausto, our guide, was very nice and took our photos. He also took photos on their phone for us to purchase in the end.

We had a wonderful experience and in my opinion it was well worth the money compared to other excursions. My wife and daughter both ride back at home and really enjoyed the experience of riding on the beach. I am a novice rider but my horse was really laid back and was easy to control. The guides were all friendly and understood English pretty good. Our transport ride from Melia was a little longer than expected because we were the furthest resort from the riding location (approx 1 hr) so don’t drink a bunch of water (or other beverages) because there are no bathroom breaks along the way.
My only complaint was the amount of trash along the riding route. It was no fault of the excursion as the are limited on the path available for the ride but it’s extremely sad to see so much trash in such a beautiful part of the world.
Wear a hat, bring sun screen and be prepared for a pretty long ride. They do not have mounting blocks either so you will have to mount your saddle on your own.

I set our appointment for 9am, they texted me the morning of that they were switching it to 11am so I said okay and switched some plans around.
They proceeded to call me at 845am saying the driver was there after just rescheduling it.
I was confused as they just made me switch my plans around.
Come 11am my girlfriend and I waited in front of our resort and still nothing. 1130am rolled around and they still hadn’t picked us up.
I called them letting them know I no longer wanted the service as they rescheduled us and never picked us up.
Overall terrible experience, I do not recommend.
I’ll be waiting for my refund or I’ll take legal action through my bank to get my money back.

Horses were well trained and accommodated riders of many skills levels. Our group was small, two couples and a solo traveler. The guides were great and the mix of beach front and trail riding was perfect. The short break in the shade by the fresh water river was refreshing. Very nice!

We were never picked up at the designated location. We arrived 15 minutes early and waited an additional 45 minutes. No response to text or phone calls. I am very sad - not only were we super excited about this excursion but we had planned our day around it.
