Horseback riding tour experience

All in all this was a good event. Pick up was slightly delayed, but they communicated this well with me as it appeared to be because they were caught up waiting for another client. This didn’t seem to affect the tour however as the length seemed unaffected. The tour path was beautiful across the beach and through the vegetation, and the river meeting the ocean was a sight to see. Our guide appeared to be a local and was incredibly kind. The horses could have been in a healthier state but aside from this the tour was enjoyable.

Horseback Giddy Up

The actual horseback riding was adventuresome. We had a fun group that kept everyone laughing. The instructors always had control of the horses and their movements. The arrival to the destination was an adventure as well. Unfortunately, our scheduled pickup time was delayed 45 minutes without an update from the tour operator. The driving in Punta Canta is with a daredevil mentality so be prepared!

We had a pick up time of 1130 the person didn’t arrive until 1215. They were in their personal car so they couldn’t enter the resort gate. When I went out to talk to the guy he had a completely different logo on his shirt. I booked with Nisibon but his shirt said El Rancho( I can’t remember the complete name) when I voiced I was uncomfortable he argued with me and told me that I didn’t book with Nisibon, so I showed him my confirmation. He went on to show me his phone with my info. I don’t know why he was given my information if he wasn’t the company I booked with. He tried calling the owner of Nisibon but I was no longer interested. We did not go on the excursion because I did not feel safe. I do not recommend this company.

No, you are completely wrong, you did not answer our call, our driver was never there waiting and you never arrived, then I sent someone to pick you up and you did not want to board the vehicle that came to pick you up. I understand that you were angry but we refunded the full money, sorry for the inconvenience. caused we are a service company thank you very much

Horseback rides

We are staying at the Melia punta Cana and it took about 45 mins to drive to the horses. Great experience. Everyone was friendly. English and Spanish was good. You take the horses about 30-45 mins on the beach to a little island type place where the river meets the ocean for a break. After that same trip back. Transportation was smooth safe and reliable. Thank you! I would recommend! Do not recommend if you can’t sit uncomfortably for a while. The ride is not meant for comfort hahah but very fun!

Had an amazing time, the taxi didn't take long. We had 3 other people with me and my boyfriend, total of 5. The group wasn't big which made the excursion really good. The only thing that was a bummer was the weather but it's not the peoples fault. It was kinda gloomy outside and sprinkled but the tour guides made the best of it. The horses were really tame and allowed me to get on their back with no issues. The tour guide used my phone and took photos of me and my boyfriend individually and together at 2 different locations which was nice. The excursion really does take about 2 hours which I am glad what they advertised was correct. It was peaceful and we did get a 10 minute break before we headed back, for the horses to relax a little. The tour guides were really nice and helped with everything. Overall, I would book this excursion again, it was definitely a great experience. If you're thinking about it, do it! Definitely a highlight of the trip.

Beach horseback ride.

Riding on the beach was therapeutic and peaceful and the ride itself was enjoyable. The weather was hot, but I enjoyed the nice breeze. The beach was beautiful, but some parts of it was littered with some trash. The guide was awesome and helpful. I was a little concerned about the condition of the horses and when we returned, I did not see access to water for them. I was "whisked" away to the shopping hut, so I did not see if the horses were moved to a watering and feeding area. I don't mind shopping, especially local, but I was made to feel like it wasn't a choice. Otherwise, I loved the trip and being able to ride on the beach.

This was one of the coolest things I have ever done. This one did not have a lot of reviews or details, so I was not sure exactly what to expect, but I had noticed on a lot of other horseback riding excursions people mentioned not very much time on the horse. We had a whole lot of time on the horses at least an hour up the beach and an hour back. It was incredible.

After struggling to find tours that would accept my wife and I due to her being in a wheelchair, the Viator phone representative found this excursion for us. They picked us up from our hotel in an SUV and drove my wife and I right onto the beach and next to the horses. The staff helped lift my wife directly onto her horse and assisted me with lifting up and over onto the saddle. The guides were positively delightful, one of which has been with the company for 20 years. We began by slowly making our way up the coastline which was a beautiful and leisurely stroll, occasionally the horses would trot through the waves as they came onto the coastline. Towards the halfway point it began to rain and we took a brief detour to shelter while it began dumping for a few minutes. On the way back it really came down but it was honestly pleasant and delightful despite the rain. When we returned our driver was waiting for us and we hurried into the car to get out of the rain. We even purchased the special kit with the Photograph and Whiskey Bottle, and were just so happy by the events end. If you get the opportunity, rain or shine, I would highly encourage this crew, especially if you’re searching for something that is an accessible activity. My wife commented that she was able to see things and places on the horse that she otherwise would not be able to get to because of the restrictions on her chair.

Beautiful beach for ride but too many people (20+) so horses were crowded together making it somewhat uncomfortable. Lots of pressure to shop at the small market. Extra points for friendliness of staff.

Our family enjoyed the ride. Everyone got a horse according to their horseback riding skill level. Fausto and his companion were very attentive and made us feel safe and comfortable.
