The tour exceeded my expectations. I was not expecting a personal one on one experience. Eva was very knowledgeable and caring. Having been on a four hour tour earlier in the day, she sensed that I was getting tired and was always willing to wait for me to rest. Each of the synagogues visited, brought more of the history into perspective. I could not have asked for a better experience, emotional experience, and the highlight of my Prague holiday.

Our walking tour in the Jewish section with Thomas, our English speaking guide, was outstanding. Thomas had a deep understanding of Jewish history and was able to convey it in such an interesting way. We were captivated the entire three hours, which flew by. He was extremely knowledgeable, interesting, friendly and flexible. We highly recommend Thomas without any hesitation and are so thankful that we had this elevated and insightful experience with him.

Our English-speaking guide, Thomas —a Prague native— was exemplary. His deep knowledge of Jewish history and culture was peppered with insightful references to Czech history and contemporary life as well. Coupled with his curious, friendly, and considerate personality, Thomas was both companion and teacher in our trek through many centuries of Jewish life. Although none of the 5 of us are Jewish, we each found this tour to be personally meaningful. The synagogues and cemetery are so historical yet still part of current communities and worship. Our guide Amalka was deeply knowledgeable and very personable. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Prague.

We were guided by Amalka and this was a delightful tour. The Synagogues visited were all distinctive, the old Cemetery was memorable and being in the Jewish Quarter was very significant with its history and vibe. Amalka was very knowledgeable, kind and fun. We later came back to the Spanish Synagogue for the Sunday night concert, which was an amazing experience, highly recommended.

Guide gave a lot of information however it wasn’t a good fit for us because we felt it was a set presentation and when I tried to direct more, she went back to what she intended , not what my request was.

This was an intimate, historic, sensitive tour of the Jewish history of Prague. You don't have to be Jewish to appreciate the significance of the exhibits and the impact of the Jews on this city.

It was lovely having a tour guide who was also Jewish .. so the passion and knowledge were there …
We didn’t know the area as it was our first day .. so our guide came to hotel and met us .. which was fabulous as there was history of the oldest cemetery outside our hotel !!
We walked around the Jewish quarter and saw everything and more that we wanted . We also asked many questions and they were all answered with personal history knowledge and experience of families . Thank you we loved sharing our day with you 💙 it was fabulous having our own personal tour guide

Was very disappointed. Had read about the jewish guides doing wonderful tours. Our guide was low energy and not jewish and only know surface information. Was not what i was hoping for at all

We just had our tour of the Prague Jewish Quarter with Amalka. It was excellent! This tour includes admission to the various synagogues and Jewish sites that make up the Prague Jewish Museum network. It was very informative and very moving. We learned a great deal about the history of Jews in the region, and the present day life for Jews here.

Amalka was an amazing guide! We learned so much about the history of Jewish Prague and the Jewish quarter from an amazing local. This was our best tour we did and we all really enjoyed it.
