Lenka was a great guide. We booked a private tour as it was the only way the timing worked to be sure we could see the neighborhood and interiors during our trip to Prague. She was well informed of the history and provided plenty of time to walk around on our own at each stop.

Our guide Lena was wonderful. Very informative and insightful. She answered our many questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. The pacing of the tour was excellent. My husband has knee issues and we walk a bit slowly and she was very accommodating to his needs.

Tour guide is vey knowledgable, clear on her ideas and her English is very good. She helped us learn and absorb plenty on the way the Jewish Community used to live in Prague. She dominates the topic very well. Out only feedback: she could had still connect better with us, ask more questions about our background and therefore, further extend on providing more valuable information. Also, the tour we paid for was for 3 hours which is way too much! The tour should had been shorter and at a lower price.

Highly recommend!! Lenka was wonderful! We had already taken a few walking tours which touched on the Jewish quarter and wondered if we'd get enough out of this (how many times can you hear about the golem?). We are so glad we kept this reservation. Lenka was friendly and super knowledgeable. Her English was perfect, so she was able to answer all our questions. Entry into the museums was separate but totally worth it. I could have chatted with Lenka all day, and we even joked we should have invited her to lunch (she recommended a great place!).

Our tour guide had limited knowledge of Jewish life in Prague and Jewish people. Yet she chose to quiz us - as Jews - on our own religious practice and made multiple offensive comments about synagogue customs and prayer...without realizing they were offensive. Overall a sad experience and not good value for money. We would have been much better served to buy the museum and synagogue tickets on our own and to listen to the audio recordings on the headsets. It's a great joy to read and listen to the stories there and go at your own pace.

This was a private tour of the Jewish quarter and we were very pleased with the guide, Lenka ?, and the pace and scope of the visit. Not everything was open due to renovations, but we saw everything that was and the guide, who was very expert in her knowledge of Jewish history in Prague, gave us enough time to see and feel the whole area. It is a niche tour in the sense that you have to have some interest in this area, but very worth it for those of us interested in history and specifically Jewish history in this area of Europe.

I found this tour profoundly depressing. While we saw what little is left of the Jewish Quarter in Prague, it is all historical relics. With one small exception, the remaining synagogues have been repurposed as museums, and the remaining Jewish Quarter no longer exists after it was “sanitized”. Basically the Nazis and the Communists succeeded in wiping out the Jewish Community in Prague and there were no indications on this tour that it has in any way been reborn. While there are a few buildings (and a cemetery remaining), there is no one home.

A great tour, very emotional at times but very very interesting. Our tour guide, Eva, was fantastic; her knowledge is exceptional and she was very accommodating to my mum’s needs of having to walk at her own pace. I have learnt so much from this tour, thank you, Eva!!

Guide never showed. Ive booked with viator several dozen times - this is the first time that a tour operator completely dropped the ball . We showed up 20 mins early at requested location (i have photo and video footage). I attempted to reach the local operator from t-10 mins from start to t+30 mins after scheduled start. I contacted Viator who also couldnt reach the local operator. we've requested a refund and was were very disappointed, a complete waste of our time.

This was a fabulous tour that was obviously heartbreaking, but had some positive aspects. Lenka, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much from the tour. Each synagogue had many artifacts and pictures that made the history come to life, Lenka’s English was excellent. If you’re in Prague this tour, with this guide, is not to be missed.

Lenka was extremely knowledgeable about the Jewish quarter, the history of the synagogues we visited and the ritual practices of the congregations. She included bits of folklore related to the Golem. She highlighted significant tombstones in the cemetery. At the end of our tour, she even assisted us in getting transportation back to our hotel.

Very comprehensive tour and the guide was very knowledgeable. The only reason it's not a 5 star review is that we feel with what we paid for the tour, the cost of the museums should have been included in the tour fee.

Our guide was amazing! A local who is a second generation guide and owns her business with her mom, was warm, inviting, open and curious and always able to answer our questions and have discussions. While my family very much appreciated the detailed tour of the Prague's historic Jewish Quarter, and we learned a great deal through the many exhibits along the route, we were very disappointed in our guide. In a number of instances she lacked familiarity with basic Jewish practices and also lacked awareness of antisemitic tropes resulting in unfortunate, insensitive comments. She seemed to be determined to stay on a script, without any curiosity to engage in conversation when we aimed to share our family's experiences or tried to correct a few inaccuracies related to Jewish customs. Our tour would have been more meaningful if our guide had a better understanding of Jewish practices, was more sensitive to the impact of xenophobia and antisemitism, and engaged more with those of us on the the tour.

The tour covers about 5 buildings in a small area as most of the Jewish ghetto was destroyed years ago. The tour could have been done in only 90 min to 2 hours instead of 3 hours. We saw mostly museums with nicely preserved artifacts, and two synagogues. The cemetery was impressive. Our tour guide Eva was nice but dry in her delivery. Would suggest incorporating the Jewish into an all-inclusive tour of Prague.
