- Our Prague castle tour with a local guide is a “skip the ticket line” tour. It means you will get your admission ticket before the tour starts, or during the tour. Unfortunately, to visit the interiors, all guides and their tourists have to stand in a common line. There is no special entrance for guides. Fortunately, the line moves quickly enough. We will do our best to make sure you don't get bored in line. Our guides will tell you interesting facts and legends that you will not find in guidebooks or answer your questions.

Inna was great! Her knowledge of the castle was great, she was easily able to answer every question. Vitus Cathedral was a highlight!!! The views were amazing. There were lots of crowd, the small tour meant we were able to hear and learn. Much better experience.

This was, unfortunately, the worst small-group tour I’ve ever experienced. Despite all tickets being prepaid, it took our guide nearly 45 minutes to secure entry. By the time we reached the cathedral, the line had wrapped around the entire building, and we ended up wasting two and a half hours for just a brief 10-minute visit inside.
Even more disappointing, the tour did not include two of the key sites we had paid to see—the Old Royal Palace and Golden Lane. Instead, the guide attempted to downplay their importance rather than adjust the schedule to include them. She simply had run out of time and wouldn’t help us get our money back for this tour.
Overall, the experience was poorly managed and did not deliver what was promised.

I completely share your indignation and disappointment. Unfortunately, several negative factors converged that day and ruined the tour. The internet at Prague Castle was down in the morning, so the guide couldn't pick up entrance tickets before the tour started. When the internet started to run again, a line of guides formed. The guides were nervous because each of them had a group waiting outside for tickets. Moreover, Prague Castle was especially crowded that day. The next day, Prague hosted an international marathon. Many people wanted to visit Prague Castle the day before the marathon.
I completely agree with your complaint that the guide didn't take you to the Royal Palace and Golden Lane. Long lines are not a reason to skip it. Long lines during high season are common.
Guides aren't allowed to discuss refunds with customers. You have to write to the tour provider for this via the platform on which you booked your tour.
I am very sorry your experience didn't meet your expectations.

This tour is very informative. We learned a lot about the history of Prague Castle. However, be ready to walk and standing for a long time. Anya, our guide is one of the best guides we’ve had. She clearly knows and understands all of the important facts about the castle’s history. This tour is highly recommended.
Also, we were lucky enough to get a gorgeous weather 😊
