- Our Prague castle tour with a local guide is a “skip the ticket line” tour. It means you will get your admission ticket before the tour starts, or during the tour. Unfortunately, to visit the interiors, all guides and their tourists have to stand in a common line. There is no special entrance for guides. Fortunately, the line moves quickly enough. We will do our best to make sure you don't get bored in line. Our guides will tell you interesting facts and legends that you will not find in guidebooks or answer your questions.

Guide hard to understand. Disjointed No overview of the major topics. Fixated on trivia , repeated herself often.

The tour area itself is really nice but the guide wasn't the best. She repeated herself a lot, spent way too much time on some things that our group wasn't showing any interest in and just in general didn't seem as knowledgeable as other guides we've had for tours.

All depends on the guide. Ours was ok - friendly but not super informative. She shared information in a disconnected manner and it was hard to follow at some points. She could have done a better job of weaving all her historical facts together. Also time spent on details which weren’t relevant to the tour..

Excellent guide, so nice not to have to listen through headphones. Very informative and helpful. Lots of history of Prague and castle and leaders. I highly recommend this tour. Loved Marta as a guide. Very enjoyable.

Lovely walk, guide was a bit dry and lacked a connection. Too long in the cathedral which is stunning to look at but not enough for 40mins.

Great experience. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave detailed information on the castle grounds. The tour covered a lot of the area. The cathedral part alone was worth it. Would recommend this tour to everyone.

It was a fantastic tour! I got to learn so much about the history of Prague Castle and its surroundings. The tour was very well organized and smooth from start to finish.
A special mention to Marta, our guide, she is an amazing storyteller. She explained history with humor and engaging stories that you will never forget, bringing the past to life right in front of us.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. it was truly excellent and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Palace, but she only stuck to the 4 places included in the itinerary. She never mentioned anything about the gardens or the tower the you can do at an extra charge. Depends on what you want out of the experience. If your interested in history of the 4 main area's, the tour is good. If you want to see and experience everything at the Palace, do it on your own.

We found the experience interesting but felt overloaded with historical information. Our guide was lovely with excellent English and suoer knowledgeable which if you are a history buff you would appreciate more than we did. St Vitus Cathedral is magnificent.. the rest of the castle buildings less so.
For us in our 70’s we found it a rather over long time with no breaks.

Fantastic experience with a knowledgeable guide. Lots of history covered in a reasonable amount of time with opportunities to take photos and admire the art and architecture as well. Highly recommended if you don't have time to spend a full day slowly going through the buildings with an audio guide. If you go for the morning session you will still have time after that to explore the rest of the complex and golden lane. We did the afternoon one but didn't come early enough to explore ahead and everything was closing soon after it ended.

The Castle and its grounds are incredible and a must see. Our tour guide (Ina) did an awesome job explaining the history in great detail without any hesitation. Her knowledge of the Castle and its history is truly impressive. The detail in the architecture and the symbolism integrated into it is also incredible. It is a tour that everyone should experience.

Gald we did the The guided tour. It was great experience and started on time .We were explained in detail about the history of prague castle complex . Which we wouldn't know if we didn't do the guided tour .The tour guide ( sorry forgot her name) was very knowledgeable and was humourous also .she kept us engrossed about the history
